I am such a fan of this book!! I have read it several times now and have found something new to love about it every time. Last year I started using this book in the classroom with my special ed kids and it was such a great experience! They found August and his family and friends so relatable. They truly got inspired to put themselves out there and to be kind to other. #bealittlekinderthannessasary

I enjoyed this book. I feel most reviews knocked it cuz it's not original in the plot. I agree I wouldn't call it an original plot line but I feel that way about most books! It was fun and exciting!! I liked the characters a lot!!
