Book 31 of 2025! If I could give this 10 stars, I would! This is a story about reintroducing wolves into the Highlands of Scotland and the conflict that comes with it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Book 30 of 2025. This book was not an easy read by any means. It‘s about a 15 year old girl who is taken advantage of by a teacher and failed by pretty much every adult in her life. I was in turns angry and sad, but the book was definitely thought provoking. I‘m giving it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because it really made me think.

tpixie Hard books can be great. 3d
Meghan1 @tpixie - I absolutely agree! 3d
tpixie The book I‘m reading now is wonderful, but it is soooo making me feel all the emotions. Which is hard and good. 3d
Reggie This book will be top 5 for me this year. I think about how her in the present and how she has to overcome her thinking that if she was a victim what does that mean. And then you read her past and the way he groomed her and she had no chance. This book is written so well but was so hard. Oof. 3d

Bringing the Boy Home | N. A. Nelson

Book 3 of 2025. Four stars for the story, which follows two boys growing up in an isolated tribe in the Amazon. The only thing I didn‘t like, explained in the author‘s note, is that almost everything in the story is made up - the tribe isn‘t real, some of the plants and animals named aren‘t real, and most of the language the “Takunami” tribe uses is made up. The story is based on an idea about unknown tribes in the jungle. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Book 18 of 2024! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wow, this was quite the heavy read, even though it‘s a YA novel written in verse. Will‘s brother is shot dead near his own house in an unnamed city. Will is set on following The Rules of the street: No crying, no snitching, get revenge. As he takes his brother‘s weapon to get revenge, he meets several people in the elevator who may or may not influence his decision.

Julia Quinn has taken her favorite quotes from the following characters from the books, Anthony, Kate, Benedict, Colin, Penelope, Daphne, Simon, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, Hyacinth, Violet, and Lady Danbury, and included them in one volume, as well as a new Lady Whistledown column for each. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
