Reading and loving this one.
Reading and loving this one.
If you are into dystopian novels this is a great pic. The story is great and there are a few really good twist and turns.
A great twist on a murder mystery. Definitely recommend.
This is one of the best books I have read on immigration. It was not what I was expecting. Highly recommend.
I read this gem with a great group over on Instagram. My favorite way to describe this book is that it is not your average smut. Really it is not smut, but the cover could be considered deceiving. Highly recommend!
I am so glad I chose this as my BOTM pick. This is so well written and the characters are clear and precise. I highly recommend this one!
Holy sh&t I am loving this book and I am not a sci-fi reader.
I knew going in that this one would be good. What I was not expecting was to want the ending just as it was. Still not sure I am comfortable with that, but it get real. I highly recommend this one!
This! I am not sure what I expected when reading this, but it surpassed my expectation tenfold. I teared up a bit which I have not done in awhile when reading. This really is one of my top books I will recommend to almost everyone.
It has been a long time since I have posted. A lot going on in life, but I am still reading away. Have you read this gem of a book? If not you probably should.
Years ago I read a book I think was just called Jane. It was a modern version of Jane Eyre. It was a YA and read super fast and made me want to read the original. Years and years (or at least that is what it feels like) I accomplished that. I found Jane Eyre to be relatable in some ways and Mr. Rochester was a bit obnoxious for my taste, but overall I felt like this a pretty good read.
Some books I need to finish and or start. One of my favorite #TBR stacks to date.
Call me Ishmael. Arguably one of the most famous first lines of a book. Have you read it?
As I am reading Z I feel like I am getting to know her and Scott even if it is in a fictional way it feels like her. Has anyone else read this?
I can't fit the whole photo, but my stack is getting bigger while I am trying to figure out what to read for the 24 in 48 challenge. What will you be reading?
I feel like I have been waiting years to read this one.
I tried to like this one, but actually maybe liked a third of it. Just not what I was expecting I guess.
I originally would not have picked this one up. It was a total case of judgement. I assumed it was some romantic love story.......those I am not of fan of. This book however is a book about family and a love of a family. It really is a must read.
My reading stack is pretty much my happy place.
This is my happy place. It is forever changing as I keep adding to these editions.
Relax. Unwind. Just breathe. This is what I want to be doing right now. Instead life stress is ruining my good book reading juju. Why did we ever want to be grown ups again haha?
I have been so bad about getting on here lately. I think this weekend will be a good time to change all that be prepared for some major book goodness over the next few days! Meanwhile I am loving this book!
Finally finally can start reading this guy soon! I have a list and am trying really hard to stick to it, but man is it ever so hard.
Another book that is about family in a not so conventional way. This was good in an emotional way that leaves you questioning what you would do.
This was an amazing story of families and how they are not always what they seem. Amazing amazing amazing!!
I am not even 75 pages in and can already tell I am going to love this one!
When you can't sleep at night starting a new book is the best company.
Book mail came today and I am very excited to start this one.
My third grade son recommended this book to me and boy is this a good read. It is sad and makes you want to jump through the pages at times and you want to cheer Gram on. I am a little over half done and already would give it 5⭐️'s.
I loved this book and I think it is time to read it again.
I loved so much of this book. Zevin has become a favorite. I loved the premise of this and felt for the characters.
This book was just so much good. I still think about it often.
My ADD is causing reading issues so this is what I am reading at the moment.
If this doesn't start s dialogue about how far is too far or are these things really something we should try to control I don't know what will. This father and daughter changed how I see things and I felt for them.
So I totally just got this memoir because of the title, but it sounds so intriguing that I am okay with that.
Has anyone taken on the feet of reading Infinite Jest yet? I keep trying, but have yet to do it. I feel the need to do it though.
I pretty much think everyone needs to read Julian Barnes. I loved this so much I went out and bought a bunch of his books with zero regret.
While I liked this it isn't something I am running out recommending to everyone hence the rating. I think you have to be ready for Ignatius in order to pick this one up and really line it.
I read this awhile ago and parts of it are still with me. It is a culture I will never understand as much I have read about it, but respect it just the same. I am going to need to read this again soon.
While parts of this were a little slow I loved it just the same.
I absolutely loved this book. As heartbreaking as it was it really made me think. I still get teary eyed thinking about the love of these two sisters.
Who has read this? I am reading it now for the first time. So far I am really enjoying it.
Oh my did my heart break several times. I laughed, cried, and laughed again all while reading one page. Backman does a great job of making you feel for Ove even if he seems unlikeable. I highly recommend reading this.
An abundance of characters that you grow to love in their diversity. A love that grows throughout the years even if it seems strange. I loved this book!
This was just an okay quick story for me. I am not sure what I was expecting, but this was not it. Maybe I expected a little something more life changing.
I need to read this as soon as possible!
I read a lot of historical fiction and this was one of the better ones!
One of the better books that I have read in awhile. The way Elena writes just feels different without being able to say why exactly.
