pickI think this might be my favourite part of the series so far. Again and again I got surprised by the story and its happenings, I kept on reading, wondering, what will happen next. Jamies development also impressed me, he's becoming a really interesting character.

Work and life are getting a lot more stressful and busy lately so I haven‘t made much progress with this book. But, I‘m really enjoying the progression of the characters. Some are a lot different to the show such as Dany who is a lot younger and innocent and softer than TV predicts her. It‘s putting a whole new spin on my perception of events. Definitely worth the read 😁

The ducklings decided mom, nan and pop wanted fresh buns for breakfast, so I got an early #audiowalk this morning. Found some berries and saw a deer. Quite a lovely way to start the day. ☺

pickThis is the best book in the series so far. There's action right from the offset. I had to close the book and stare at a wall multiple times to keep myself from shouting at it. There are twists on every page, and deaths on every second page. It was excellent.
Ducklings woke me at 3.40, 4.55 and 5.36... Now they decided the night is over... Might as well get me some coffee from the gas station and start my audiobook for this month...

pickAbsolutely fantastic read, with a satisfying ending (in my opinion) can't wait to read the next, but going to take a break from ASOIAF for the time being and start in Lord of the rings. 😀🙌🙏
pickFinally finished this. I don‘t know what pushed me into a reading slump but it sucked! Love this series. I‘ll probably continue it next month. Right now I‘m feeling like reading some Goosebumps books.
Starting this one before the twins wake up from their nap. Hopefully it doesn‘t take me 2 weeks to finish.

Nice to return to this realm. I love so many of these characters and how Martin narrates this complex stort. And combined with freshly baked goods? All I can say is that someone is going to have to surgically remove me from this chair once the holiday is over.

pickThe action certainly doesn't stop, does it?! Basically, as long as you don't come from one of the major houses, one of the minor ones, one of the middling ones, as long as you're not an outlaw, a knight, a King, a Brother of the watch, a wildling or just some bloke who happens to be walking past, only THEN are you safe from the inevitable body count. It's not a safe job, you know, being in one of these George R R Martin books...
