Not book-related, but we just had an earthquake about an hour ago near me. Did anyone else feel it? A 5.1 near Sparta, NC.

So, did the rest of my NC Littens feel this, too? I‘m right on the NC/SC line and it shook my bed. The dogs are still freaked. 2020 needs to get over itself and stop throwing tantrums.

Photo posted by my local used book store of the earthquake aftermath yesterday. I stopped by today and everything looks like it‘s back to normal now!
Whelp, our morning in Alaska was interrupted by an impressive 7.0 earthquake, epicenter only 10 miles from Anchorage, where I live. Thankfully the worst damage we had was some broken glasses, but there are reports of collapsed roads and worse around town. My Xmas decorations were a bit disturbed, very but glad to still have power and no major problems at our house.
Hey ya‘ll,..share with our friends on the possibly affected places? I just read that it‘s the next couple of hours that are iffy as to whether or not tsunamis will occur.
Between the earthquake in the upper South Island in my country and the post election worries in the US, I'm just really glad I have books to escape into now and then to have a break. Kia kaha to anyone in the quake affected area. ❤️
