Samplergal @Kaye I‘m 62 and retired Speech language pathologist. Best job ever but dealing with 2-4 year olds on the floor wiped me out. I get it. I‘m trying to write a little now. We will see if it goes anywhere. 6y

Kaye That sounds like a wonderful job. I like jobs that help people like that. I bet it took lots of patience, which I‘m a bit short on. Best of luck with your writing. What sorts of things are you working on ? 6y

I‘ve been pretty obsessed with reading about our Presidents lately. (Currently on John Adams, which isn‘t far, but it‘s only February!😄) I‘ve noticed how many were voracious readers! I found a list and this is the top 6. Teddy would read 1 a day when he was busy, 2 or 3 when he wasn‘t! 😯
Top: Teddy, FDR, Thomas Jefferson
Bottom: Lincoln, Rutherford Hayes, John Quincy Adams

Some people think being a librarian means you get to buy all the books you want, which is a myth (if you're doing it right). I have to start looking for updated president books, and it makes my heart heavy. 😔 I do get to edit my personal photo, though, for all offensive content! 😄 #notmypresident #librarylife

Riveted_Reader_Melissa I love this post! I live in Trump country, and I don't know if I can make it 4 yrs. I just spend this morning sitting in the dentist chair, with pre-Trump & then Trump press conference on the TV, with my hygienist making conversation the whole time about Trump while I'm stuck in my chair with my mouth propped open. Longest fillings of my life! I've never had a better motivation to brush, floss, & rinse those things down with cleansers in my life. 7y
