Another thrilling tale of Maggie Hope! Searching for her sister, she travels to Paris. Something about reading these WWII spies fighting the Nazis makes me hopeful. And a great story is always a bonus!

Oh how I love this series! This is one of my favorites so far, filled with intrigue and adventure, heartache and loss. The last few books have felt a little bit like filler while this one really started advancing the story again. And it ended with a cliffhanger, which is always exciting! I‘m very very excited for the next installment! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

So dark and sad but very good!!! Maggie‘s in occupied France on a couple of missions that she‘s created for herself. Will she make it out unscathed?

Was all I was able to do. I got sick on Sunday and spent most of it watching Gilmore Girls. #24in48

I‘m still hanging out with Maggie. Graduation week is a zoo, and I can say I successfully made it through to the other side. Next week it‘s my favorite #Litten‘s turn, @lizzlehuff - she‘s graduating magma cum lauded with a BS in Psychology, and we are so proud of her. #ProudMomma #DivaMommaToo

AmyG Congrats! It‘s so joyful watching your children succeed . 🎉 (edited) 7y

Pulling the midnight shift tonight and already struggling. It‘s finals week and we have extended hours, snacks, and therapy dogs. Counting on Maggie to get me through the next 3 hours and 41 minutes. #FinalExams #MidnightLibrarian #TomorrowWillBeUgly

This book was great!!! Picks up right where book 6 ends! I absolutely love Maggie Hope she‘s so daring and smart! The situations she finds herself in during this trip had me on the edge of my seat at times. I love seeing how she is growing not only as a spy but being an independent woman. I cannot believe I have to wait til August 😳😭😫 for book 8! Love love love this series!!! #independantwomen #MaggieHope #latenight #thatendingtho #audiobook

"Nothing is what it seems" is the theme of the latest installment in the Maggie Hope series. While MacNeal has no trouble jeopardizing her characters I'd venture to say that this was on the darker side for all of them. Lives lost and loyalties tested, I think they're all left at the end wondering who they can trust and how far they're willing to go. A strong entry in Maggie's continued story, I'm eager to see what happens next.

This series is getting stronger as it continues. I love the incorporation of historical facts and people into the plot as well as fictional characters based on real people. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

And just like that, I'm at the end of another series I love. I really do wish these authors would write faster. 😉 Maggie Hope is such an amazing heroine, and the series is getting so much more intense with each book. Can't wait to see what happens in the next one!

Yikes! Another stellar installment in the Maggie Hope series. MacNeal is 🔥🔥 when poor Maggie gets dropped behind enemy lines -- truly her strength.

If you like mysteries and history this one is for you. An agent in Paris during WWII looking for two others. Plus you might learn some history while you read!

This was my least favorite in the series, mostly because I've already read too many books about British spies in France during WWII. So it's totally not MacNeal's fault. And certain parts were very good. So...

I received this arc yesterday from Penguin and I'm really looking forward to it! It's #7 in the series and I'm wondering if I should read the backlist first. Thoughts?

Jess_Read_This Oh yes! Read the others first. I LOVE this series and am happy jealous of you/for you! But the series does build on the prior books. 7y

There are a zillion WWII series out there, and this is one of my favorites (the other being Jane Thynne's Clara Vine books). MacNeal gives us the story from different perspectives, so it feels like we don't get much Maggie. With Maggie working undercover in Paris, the stakes are really high. Maggie's trying to find her sister, while trying to find a missing agent. Another great installment in a totally binge-worthy series.
