I can‘t believe I got sucked into listening to another of these. The characters are annoying and it‘s loaded with terrible innuendo to the point of hilarity. I definitely had moments of laughing out loud as well as wanting to hit my head. Lorelei King is an outstanding narrator and the mystery/story was entertaining. 🌟🌟🌟 and 26 points?

Clwojick Hahahahaha! I actually loathe these books now. I read too many of them, too close together... and then EVERY SINGLE character got on my nerves. 4y

Read-y_Picker @Clwojick could definitely be the problem. Thanks for your input, I was set to start the 3rd instalment this morning. I was really struck by the inconsistency of the characters‘ attitudes at the beginning of the second one. All of a sudden there were new rules and they were just so mean to one another compared to how i had gotten used to them. 🤷🏻‍♀️ (edited) 4y

LibrarianRyan @Erika13137 There are 3 but the books don't really wrap up the central mystery. I have a feeling since they are a bit urban Fantasy, they were not selling well enough to continue the series. 5y

Finished January 9, 2018.

This #sequel mostly keeps up in terms of #humor and #adventure, however this time, the characters seem to be more watered down, more like an image of themselves. Even the main villain seems more like a joke and less like a villain. #ThisIsntFunny

drokka There are only two other books in this series (I wish there were more) however Diesel does appear in most (if not all - it's been so long since I've read them) of the Stephanie Plum Between the Numbers books. 7y

Clwojick @ReadingRover @drokka Agreed! I prefer Lizzy and Diesel together as opposed to Stephanie Plum and Diesel. Though, to be honest, I've read 7 of the Stephanie Plum books and they are just so similar that it's hard to get excited about them anymore 7y

ReadingRover @drokka Do the Stephanie Plum books have a super natural aspect to them? I‘ve never read any. Every time I check on this series there is no publication date. 🙁. I know that sometimes they just don‘t continue some series if they aren‘t as popular as others. It would suck though because I really like this one! 7y
