The only thing I love about now is flowers everywhere, this is part of my wisteria vine, I love it not just coz it‘s gorgeous, but also coz it was started with a cutting from my next door neighbour of 20yrs who‘s no longer with us. It always makes me smile💜

It‘s finally here! I am loving sending the kids out to play after homework...a little quiet time after work for me to catch up on my books! #springhassprung

It's official! It's Spring in Chicagoland. It's a cold, foggy, misty day and the geese are back nesting on the building across from the train station. 😆

We have our first flower of the season. Spring is my favorite, I love watch new life pop up and being able to read outside.

1. Missouri seems confused about spring this year. Snow this past Sunday, warmed up each day since to approx 75F today, but more snow & rain in forecast for the weekend. ❄️☀️
2. Fresh asparagus and morel mushrooms
3. Next up is Stoner, a book set in Missouri that I've been looking forward to but just got a copy in hand, and long range is the release of The Fall of Gondolin in late summer. Tagging @tpixie if you haven't already.

1. I don‘t really plan ahead that much but Neverwhere has been eyeing me from #MountTBR for a little too long. Not sure I‘ll take it with me on my trip though.
2. Not officially. I‘m taking a spring break this year though. Two weeks in England and France as my 10 yr law school graduation present to myself.
3. I love all the flower but lilies are my fave. Alstroemerias are my fave lilies.
4. Chocolate eggs all the way!

Bird song, warmth, finally, our Magnolia tree we planted 22 years ago the spring after Robert was born has flowered! It's the "Robert tree". We anticipate its petals unfolding every spring. ?❤️
