While she may be know more commonly for the blue alien series, it‘s the dragon series that really gets me 😍🌶️. #LuckyInLove #Sultry

February catchup review 4:
Spent some time with Ruby Dixon‘s Fireblood series this month. I‘ve been meaning to read these since reading “Veronica‘s Dragon” in the Icehome series.
Dixon does steamy and “alien man treats her better” really well. I always get caught up in the romance. I also love how her series give us more world building in each book so it‘s not a big dump of info in the first book, but gives you enough to stay interested.
I‘m a fan of Ice Planet Barbarians, so I decided to check out the authors other series and I was not disappointed! A post apocalyptic world where dragons have mysteriously appeared through a portal and run amok. Our main character Claudia is a scavenger who is just trying to take care of her sister, gets caught and her sentence is to “tame a dragon”. A very dated mates premise that is a fun easy read. 4⭐️
#bookspin done! #fabulousfebruary
Both main characters were likable but I would have loved to know more about them.
I love post apocalyptic stories so this setting worked for me. The world is ugly and dangerous but at the same time this book wasn't really fun - and that was what I expected by the author.
This gave some answers but there were some left open too. I am hoping to get more worldbuilding in the next book.

I finished book 10 of Ice Planet Barbarians and decided to start this series! I clearly love Ruby Dixon 😊
I enjoyed this #ParanormalLoveCrew December pick!
Years after the rift, where the skies tore and fire breathing dragons arrived in the world, people are living in a fiery wasteland in communities “protected” by militia. Dragons attack regularly, but the militia have heard rumours of a dragon tamed in another fort, and are using female prisoners as bait to try and recreate the taming.
Claudia is found by Kael, a dragon who wants a mate.

A post apocalyptic dragon romance...just the kind of trope I love and expect from Ruby Dixon. There‘s lots of steam, drama and shape shifting dragons looking for mates. It was just a fun book and I‘ll definitely be enjoying the rest of the series!
Post apocalyptic romance with DRAGONS! 😉 Taking a break from aliens and moving in the this series and finding it just as fun as Ruby Dixon‘s others. 📚📚📚
My first ever dragon romance ???
I picked this one for #RippedBodiceBingo because I read and liked the first book in Dixon's alien series, and this one was definitely hot (lol) but I noticed a lot of similarities between this and the alien one - "fated" mates, spunky chick that feels responsible for taking care of others, intense protective dude. Anyways, it was interesting.

This book. It was really charming overall and pretty ridiculous. But I still enjoyed it a ton ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love Ruby Dixon and her books never disappoint; but her dragon series is by far my favorite! Amy and Rast are such a good pairing. I fall for the main couple every time and then wonder how she's gonna make me fall in love with the next couple.I end up with a favorite; then she goes and introduces a new person you can't help but love and relate to in some way! Eagerly awaiting the next book. (By the way Fire in his blood is book#1 in the series).
I didn't know Dixon wrote dragon romances! I've been enjoying her blue alien romances, so am very excited to try her dragons. This cover is ridiculous. I love it. #romantsy
