Up Next:
Sarah (I‘ve got two books about the matriarch Sarah by two different authors. I can‘t decide which one I want to read for #BookedInTime)
I need to make a decision about my #FoodAndLit book too.
#BookReport

Here are my #bookspin books for May.
I‘ve been reading through the Nancy Drew series for years and the Haunted Showboat is next. But never fear @Librarybelle when/if we get to this one for the #NancyDrewBR I have no problem reading it again.
I‘m trying to read from my kindle more so Rebecca of Sunnybrook farm it is. That way I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone: bookspin and #ChildrensClassicRead2024 with @TheBookHippie
Yesterday I passed my American citizenship and I only wish I could tell my younger self that you can do it and everything will okay,
The StoryGraph makes it easy to share my April #wrapup. Granted there‘s no info about titles or anything, but I‘m pretty lazy. Maybe later I‘ll post titles.
I don‘t read as fast or as much as other #littens, but I‘m pleased with my April reading.
My new book case, my husband got me 2 weeks ago, for our anniversary. We finally got it put together, yesterday. I moved some of my books from my other 2 overflowing bookshelves. ❤️📚❤️

I only finished one book this week and it was audio. I‘m hoping to finish The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store today. At some point this week I‘ll start Selling the Dream and The Clue in the Diary for the #NancyDrewBR.
Have a great week everyone!

📖 The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store is the top priority since it‘s for my in person book club May 9.
📱The Address is my night read (crappy lighting = #readyourkindle
🎧 Selling the Dream An impulse buy this week thanks to @Amor4Libros and @jlhammar
Okie dokie. After much waffling I think I have my #bookspin list for May. I was trying to make it as open as possible for myself and less subject to monthly changes. I also have 2 “required” reads each month (In person book club and a postal round robin book club) so I needed to make space for “mood reading”.
Thanks for the inspiration @Read4life
Thanks for hosting @TheAromaofBooks
Question for @TheAromaofBooks : is this an acceptable list? Or would it be considered not in the spirit of the rules?
Please forgive me @TheAromaofBooks but can I get a #bookspin refresher?
I suppose four of six I'd liked/wanted isn't bad?
The Enright and Grenville are good reads but not my favourites of their work - wondered if they were carried by their other books / body of work rather than this book? IDK 🤷♀️🤷♀️

My shortlist of favourites (subject to picking up the last 4!)

Thinking about starting a reading journal. Anyone else keep one? Any advice you will share with a newbie? Thanks, my fellow bibliophiles! #ReadingJournal
Nearly there with my women's prize longlist reading.
I won't finish them all, but have enjoyed the reading so far.
(I had read two before the longlist was announced, so not shown here.)

Name change!!! I‘ve decided to link up all my book information into one name.
Sorry for the long break from reading (school and work have been kicking my butt recently). Hopefully the new name and my new look at organization will help me keep on track.

Solar eclipse as seen in Des Moines, Iowa today. About 84% coverage at it's peak. Pretty cool!
This is the time when I was in San Francisco and buying some cassette tapes I‘ve been here before and it was a big record store I feel I was back in the 80‘s or 90‘s it was awesome I just only wish I could go back San Francisco again, I‘m so sorry I wasn‘t updated to this app but I‘m here now
#readyourkindle
I only managed to read one off my Kindle list in March. Am I supposed to add another?

📘The Holy Bible. Once I finish it, I start rereading it again.
📘 Jesus Calling. A Devotional I read over and over.
📘God Hears Her Joyful Christmas. Christmas Devotional
Not in data system.
This is a cute, funny audiobook of letters between Grandma Vivian, Winslow, the Boston Terrier and Zippy, a Terrier. It's a journey in letters thru Zippy 's first year of living with Winslow. Very light-hearted.

I better get reading - I've not finished any of the NF shortlist!

Celebrating by throwing this book in the trash. Not even going to recycle it. I love Cinderella, but this cover makes me want to 🤢
Sometimes my book ambitions are not very realistic. These are due back to the library after lots of renewals, but I still haven't read them. I blame mood reading.
I need to read my Kindle books so badly! I hope you‘ll add me to the participants @CBee
These are only books someone has highly recommended. Barely a dent in the Kindlepopolis.
I edited the picture. Forgot that they had to be square!
