pickI really love this author. She always writes books that really pull me in until the very end. This one was no exception. It‘s a story about a plane crash and it really gets into the instincts of survival and how the trauma effected the people after their time on the island. I really was hooked on this book and didn‘t want it to end. Definitely recommend this one!
pickA story about survivors of a jet plane that crashed into the ocean. It reminded me a lot of the movie Castaway. I couldn‘t stop listening as the story switched back and forth from their time on the deserted island to after their rescue and returned home. The lies and secrets were enthralling! #MountTBR #ReadingUSA2019 #Missouri (one survivor lived there)

pickFeel bad for how low this is scored on here. I enjoyed it and how it all wrapped up. I definitely think there were some far-fetched bits while they were stranded on the island, but they didn‘t ruin the book in my opinion. Not a thriller really, more low-key.
Slightly nervous about this one because of the current Litsy rating, but we‘ll see how it goes!

pickThis was a book that I read then checked the Litsy score of and was shocked. I loved this book, from page 1 to page 300! I‘m not sure why it got so many “Pan” and “So So” reviews. I thought the writing, characters, and helplessness were executed flawlessly.

pickTold in alternating points of view, & moving from past to present, this is the story of plane crash survivors & how they survive the wreckage of their lives. A fun, if predictable, read. I'd like to rate this a "pick lite": between a pick & so-so.

panI read Emily Bleekers " When I'm gone" and was really excited to read another one of her books. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy wreckage. Maybe my expectations were too high.
pickI thought it was a good book. It was a quick read for me. The only thing I would say is I don't think any of the twists or reveals were all that shocking. It was all pretty obvious to me.
pickA story of survival and lies, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The twist at the end totally took me by surprise, but in a good way. The alternating timeline and POV really gave depth to the story, and I'm finding myself more and more drawn to these types of novels. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
so-soDiscussed this at my book club last night. This book was an enjoyable one, but not of the highest quality writing in terms of how the ending was tied up in a neat little bow. All the tragic events in the book were hinting at a much darker ending. It would've been more realistic. This is a fun summer book, but not one that would hold up under critical scrutiny. Although it does make you wonder what you would do if you were stranded on an island.
Well I finished it, even if technically the early AM of the day of the book club! 😜😜 Review to come after sleep! I have a lot of feelings! These 451 characters won't be enough to fill them all! I'll have to put the link to my Goodreads in the About Me section!!

pickI love deserted island survival stories. I found this compelling with several twists + reveals throughout the story (not just at the end), which is great. I guessed some of them but not all and was surprised by the way everything ended. Audio read by Luke Daniels & Kristin Watson Heintz = 👍🏻
