I was a big Fear Street fan back in Junior High and High School. I‘d planned on reading this last month but my hold didn‘t come through in time, so I‘m reading it this month instead.

Of the R.L. Stine books that I have read as part of my #paperbackcrush challenge, this was definitely my fav. Quick read for me and had me interested enough to be trying to figure out ‘whodunit‘! I can see why these were so popular. #jubilantjuly
So I have had this mannequin for years. Originally I spray painted her watermelon pink. She doesn‘t match any room in the new house so I am currently decoupaging her with an old book. Once she is finished she will live in my little library.

A spring night, soft moonlight, five beautiful Prom Queen candidates, dancing couples at the Shadyside High prom—these should be the ingredients for romance. But instead they‘re a recipe for terror… (via Goodreads)

I decided to read a Fear Street book in honor of Halloween yesterday. This one gets 4⭐️ for the camp factor. It would make an awesome cheesy B movie. I had a pretty good idea who the killer was but it still kept me guessing until the big reveal. This was a fun stroll down memory lane. 🤓

I forgot how lightly sketched the characters are in Stine's books, which works much better for me in the monster books.
Thanks so much to @callielafleur for this amazing #clearingtheshelves2 giveaway! I had all these books at some point and Fear Street was pretty much all I read as a kid. I can remember begging to go to B. Dalton at the mall to buy them. My favorite was The Prom Queen. 🖤🖤🖤
Another that was so bad it was good. I couldn‘t put it down, despite hating all the characters. 😂
1. I don‘t usually re-read books but I have been considering revisiting the Fear Street series from my childhood.
2. Mexican food and French fries make me happy
3. Hooked on Supernatural currently but if you haven‘t seen it I highly recommend Superstore.

Thanks for the tag @Craftylikefox 😘

Seventh book in the #BuddyRead with Jason (@korbus) We had originally only picked six books to #read but we are having so much fun with them we just keep adding more! I have memories of liking this one a lot and I'm not sure why. Can't wait to see what these are like all these years later! #nostalgia #FearStreet #RLStine #PromQueen #90sKid
