Another great story from NPH filled with mystery, drama and of course magic! I actually enjoyed this more than the first one. The story had enough layers to the story and kept me engaged as I flew through this.

Also, book 1 done for Dewey‘s #readathon! I had a late start this morning and I had 🏊‍♀️ and 🏌️‍♀️ class the morning, so trying to make up for lost time now. 🤓

LibrarianRyan Just did a bit of research. Even common sense Media gives it a 4 star and they are one of the most conservative review services there is. However, I did find the book on my Queer inclusive book lists.

GlassAsDiamonds @LibrarianRyan Kinokuniya Singapore - their flagship store. What I found especially odd was that they hadn‘t tagged the first book in the series, only the second. It is possible it‘s because of NPH, homosexual sex is still technically illegal in Singapore but I was hoping not. 5y

They do NOT stock the William Gibson anthology that includes the Wired article that got Gibson and Wired banned from publication here in the 90‘s but I did rather think sexual preference of an author rather beyond needing a parental warning... even here. 5y

Jonathan's fever broke early this morning!! 🙌🏻🙆🏼‍♀️ he is a whole new boy. But now I'm a little more sick than yesterday so definitely another bed day. Starting Neil Patrick Harris' second installment of his kid lit series. I really enjoyed the first one! I love how his personality shines through in his writing. He's a great narrator.

Why does Neil Patrick Harris have to hit me in the feels?! This is really such a wonderfully diverse and magical series and I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting same sex parents and/or adopted family dynamic. The characters are so freaking fun and the magic lessons are such a fun idea
