Guess I've just found a new series to read.
#GhostCat did not let me #audioknit this afternoon, so I had to finish the tagged book.

@wanderinglynn read a Tessa Dare book recently and I've decided to give this author a try.
This is the 4th book in a series, but it's my first by the author - it was the first I could get from my friend's library.
Guess I've found a new series/author to read. 😁

One of my favorites- I don‘t know what intrigued me about this one
Several bets occur, which leaves a serving girl receiving duchess lessons from a Duke's mother, while the girl tries her best to fail fantastically. But this is a romance, so we all know how it ends. Another great book from Spindle Cove.
The Duke of Halford refuses to marry, so his mother takes him to “Spinster Cove” and tells him to choose a bride. She will turn her into a duchess. Touches of Pygmalion and an interesting cast of characters.
Spindle Cove series #4 and my favorite so far. My Fair Lady vibes (or Pygmalion if you prefer the play) are strong in this book.
This is my favorite so far in the Spindle Cove series.
This had me laughing from the opening.
I started straightening up for company coming but when I picked up my book I got sidetracked. Fortunately it‘s family and they know me.

I've discovered that romance novels are good for when I want to read but am having major issues with my chronic migraines and can't concentrate on heavier things. Tessa Dare is one of my favorite #romantsy authors and damned if I didn't stay up too late reading this book in one sitting. I laughed out loud many times. Great characters, a heartwarming plot, wit, humor, and much needed HEA. 5 🌟
What is a mother to do ? Her son the Duke is miserable and obviously in need of a wife. Perhaps a sleeping potion and a spot of kidnapping is in order. A carriage ride to "Spinster Cove" and a room full of young ladies ready for Duchess "lessons". Of course the Duke chooses the serving girl. ( I'm a sucker for Pygmalion/ My Fair Lady type stories) Fun and frolics and plenty of ???
Just finished this fun #romantsy Pygmalion story. I'm so happy I bought this iBook , a pure #blameitonLitsy purchase. It's been a tough week and escaping into this light hearted ( but still steamy 😉) novel saved my sanity 😀

Loved this historical romance!
Never imagined myself reading a book with a cover like this 😂😂Really, though is was a fun quick read! If you like the My Fair Lady plotline and a little 🔥💗, you'll probably enjoy this one. Perfect between heavier reads.
You guys. These books. They're sooooooo awesome..... #fiestyfeb #allthefeels❤❤❤❤
Griff was pretty amusing. I laughed pretty hard at this one. 😂🤓📖
One of my fav romance couples popped up in this! Behold Minerva and Colin from #AWeektobeWicked adorable and hilarious as always. And using the scientific method! 😍📖❤️
Rereading this book for the #LitsyAtoZ challenge, and as part of my Spindle Cove glom. I love this couple so much -- a serving girl from a country town, and a jaded duke. It's like My Fair Lady, but with a much more swoonable hero. http://fave.co/2iyOf1x

Ringing in the New Year with my favorite Tessa Dare novel! I hope everyone has an awesome night and future year! Can't wait to share it with my awesome Littens!!😘📚
I'm back and forth on this one. I finished it in under a day and it was beautifully written (the romance scenes were 🔥). But... I'm not a big fan of the 'Eliza Doolittle' esq stories. Taking an unfortunate woman and forcing her into your world and games for a chance at better always makes stories a little uncomfortable for me. I love Tessa's storytelling, this trope just isn't my cup of tea.
Annnnd here's my pick for set in a library! Pauline and her sister's dream is to start a lending library of their own in Spindle Cove and it leads to the absolute BEST big romantic gesture EVER! I will say no more, to avoid spoilers, but I'm just saying, all book lovers should give this a read. You'll probably find it as swoon-worthy as I did 😍 #seasonsreadings2016 #romantsy
My first Tessa Dare ( I know, I know 😉) and it was a great read. Loved the settings, the basic premise of Cinderella taming the Beast :)
So good!
The ending isn't one of your typical historical romance endings, the characters are complex and the romance is believable. I refuse to write proper review until I read it again, and I rarely reread a book but this one demands it because it's so good.
