Of course after I said this series never lets me down I read one that I totally dislike. 🤦🏾♀️

People have complained that this is a book with just Lyndsay and Joe. But sometimes a change is good in a series.
I loved this book jut as much as the other 17.
I‘m reading this series backwards having found book 19 then 18 in an LFL. The mystery solving team are the MC‘s which somehow lightened the illegalities described her - Bosnian genocide mass murderer turned San Francisco restauranteur kidnaps, rapes, strangles, hangs, hunts innocent women, mired in college debt for sport (shooting stars). And this doesn‘t begin to describe what he did to Anna. Yikes.
I really liked this one, I liked how joes and Lindsay investigations linked up and how they worked together.
The subject matter in this one was much darker than previous books in this series. It was a page turner but not one that I would revisit.
Never disappointed... ok maybe at the ending, but who isn't 🤣 As always, can't wait to read the next one.
Enjoyed this one more than 16 and 17, and managed to get in a kindle deal.
Still not enough of all four of the women though- which was always the best thing in the series.
I‘ll probably just wait for an offer on 19 too.
I've enjoyed this series since the 1st one. The group of women who are all part of the womens murder club are all strong women in their own right. However, the books are getting somewhat predictable and Ive had a lot of deja vu moments the past few in the series.
Awesome as always.. 😁 Only 4 stars though as I was disappointed that their daughter wasn't mentioned at all & the rest of the girls weren't featured as much..
Oooh I've missed these women.. Can't wait to catch up with them all.. 😊

So, what can I say? SUPERB as always...

Starting this tonight! Love James Patterson Women‘s Murder Club. Will be a quick read I‘m sure but never disappoints!
One of my favorite James Patterson series is the Women‘s Murder Club! I enjoy all the characters and their stories. This novel was more of a flashback to years ago with a very chilling case that was utterly heartbreaking. Now I‘m all caught up on this series and I‘m ready for the next one!
Boxer is trying to find 3 missing teachers, while Joe is tracking a suspected war criminal. They both have their hands full and are praying for a happy ending.
It was really good I just wish that James Patterson would have added Julie in the book as well. It was weird not having her in the story.
⭐⭐⭐
This one was a bit of a departure for me. Of all of Patterson's series (serieses?), this one has been my favorite - I credit Maxine Paetro with that. But this one just didn't do it for me. There was so little interaction with the other 3 members of the WMC (they each had like 4 lines), and even Lindsay was barely in this one. It was more a Joe story than anything else. It wasn't terrible. But the spark was missing.
This is the 18th book in the series, and I STILL can't decide how to pronounce this guy's name.
Is it jAk-uh-bee (with emphasis on a long A sound)? juh-kO-bee (with emphasis on a long O sound in the middle)? Or, as my daughter thinks jack-o-bee (with a smaller stress on the Jack)? Or something else? I know it's silly but I seem to pronounce it in my head differently every time he's mentioned, and it's driving me crazy.
Moving things up a bit and visiting Panera on a Monday...
I‘m giving this a so-so because this is no longer a Women‘s Murder club series. It‘s the Lindsey and Joe show. I don‘t understand why not have Yuki meet Anna since half way she brings the story to Lindsey full of passion to do something. Why give it to Joe??? It‘s a ok story that just lacks the presence of the four women that got me hooked on the series 😞 maybe book 19 will be different but I‘m close to abandoning this series💔
I mean I will keep reading them as long as they keep getting published but I need more of Women‘s Murder Club! The storyline with Joe, Lindsay, and Conklin was great-very engaging and a few triggers. However, Yuki, Cindy, and Claire were so overlooked. We are a bit of them but I felt like that group dynamic between them was forgotten and I missed it.
I am spending this weekend on the middle peninsula of Virginia called the Northern Neck Rivah Country. I am staying at a house which backs to the Chesapeake Bay. This is the view but it is it raining. So I am enjoying my book.
I just picked this up from the library and reading now with oatmeal raisin coconut cookies. #bookhaul
Finished! Giving it 4.5 stars. Much better than the last book in the series.
Enjoying this more than the last book in the series. Already 50% through.
It is a testing day here and I got lucky enough to be a hall monitor again. Excited to read for a bit and get into the new Women‘s Murder Club Book.
I didn't like the last book in this series so this book is the last chance I'm giving the series. 25% in and it's more interesting than the last book so far.
Riding in the car with my brother and just got overly excited about snagging this on the day my library released it! He doesn‘t get it. Thankfully Littens do! Yes!!!
I think this is Patterson‘s latest book. #AnotherOneBitesTheDust #Anglophile
I don‘t read him any longer, but you have to admit, he‘s prolific if nothing. I wonder if when he wraps his latest, does he sing Another One Bites the Dust?
Another great book from James Patterson 😊
I do love this series and the story was really good. Just wish Claire, Cindy and Yuki were in it abit more. The story focused on Lindsay and Joe working two cases that ended up collliding.
🌟🌟🌟🌟
Can't wait for number 19 in October ❤
