Finally sitting in bed after a very long Christmassy day and week, with my perfect present, my 2021 Bibliophile Planner and some gorgeous Gustav Klimt bookmarks.
As much as I'd like to curl up and read a book right now, I think I'm ready to fall asleep, in my Christmas clothes!
Can't wait to have a look at my new planner and use these gorgeous bookmarks.

December. The last month of the year & of 2020.
I love this diary (& its bookstacks) so much that I have bought next years bibliophile as a Xmas gift for myself, & a pack of 12 Klimt bookmarks as well, quite a lovely gift, don't think anyone knows me well enough to top that, lol!
I will post a pic of these lovely treasures soon

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak was a great read earlier this year.
On my shelf are, Daughter of Fortune by Isabella Allende, Julius Ceasar by Shakespeare and Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak all on my TBR.
I've just borrowed The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett in e-book format, inspired from this awesome book stack. Love delving into new-to-me authors 🤩

Butterfinger I've read them all except for LionBoy and The Westing Game. I love this image - mixing up the classics with more recent ones. 4y

August bookstack from my beautiful, yet almost untouched, 2020 diary. No appointments to date, no work dates to fill, but I did get to mark down the Zoom watch meeting this Friday to watch Emma with some Litsy folk. Thanks to @sprainedbrain 😉

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I'm working from home but still have very few items to put into my planner. I've started to put entries for little household tasks, reading plans, Litsy posts, and workouts inside just to have things to check off. 🤣 4y

Curiouser_and_curiouser That's a great idea @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick & yes, it is probably something I would have done a few years ago, but I am ever so happy with the open plan style of my diary at the moment. Deadlines had got me to a place of overwhelm so the fact that every day is open plan is so healing for me. It's taken since March for me to feel ok to voluntarily write something in it, so I must be making progress 😊 I may be ready to take on your suggestion! 4y

I seem to have left July behind and did not post the bookstack from my Bibliophile 2020 diary.
Amending that now.

I only own 2 of these books in this stack (Angela's Ashes and First They Killed My Father), but there are a few others here on my TBR.
I found the audiobook of I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings on YouTube so I'm definitely looking forward to that when the time comes.

Welcome April!
Here is a gorgeous book stack for this month in my Bibliophile Planner.
I only own 2 of these but I love having these book stacks as a reference for future reading choices.

When I was a teen I used to often dream of accidently being locked in a library for weekend or even over the school holidays, so I could read the entire time.

I think my dream has a little bit come true....
My library is fully stocked and I am Iso ready!

I own 9 from this stack but I have only read one of these books (Forever by Judy Blume - when I was in Primary School!) And I'm halfway through Outlander.

The Fault in our Stars is on my TBR for this year.

ElaineR Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris is very very funny. A series of short essays really. It will make you laugh out loud. 5y

I got my bookish bullet journal‘s 2020 splash page sorted!

I don‘t aim for particular reading totals anymore, but I‘ll keep the focus on reducing La TBR in 2020. I currently own 239 unread books. I want that number to be 125 or less by this time next year.

I‘ll also keep reading diversely. In 2019, 58% of my reading list was by BIPOC creators and 64% was by non-American creators. I want to maintain more or less those percentages this year.
