I‘ve never heard of this author before, but the cover caught my attention, and the blurb caught my interest. Ended up spurlging on buying this at Costco!

I have mixed feelings about book art, but these #roses are really pretty. This is a neat idea for a bride who is a big reader! If a book is old and can't be read anymore, then making their pages into art gives them new life. #literarylove @vkois88 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks

A Southern epic filled with love, marriage, war and death that spans over three generations. I devoured this book the way I would devour chocolate, I highly recommend reading it.
