I loved the fusion of sci fi & fantasy. The world building was interesting. But I‘m not a fan of the enemies to lovers trend, & I felt the ending was rushed with one of the characters finding a diary to explain everything we needed to know in the last little bit. 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑

Even though I love fairy tale re-tellings like Cinder, this book really surprised me, I really didn't expect to love it so much this time seeing the first time I tried to read it I DNF it on page 38. The characters were so lovable, they grew so much as the story progressed and I found myself genuinely rooting for them. (Continues in comments)

pickI really enjoyed this version of Beauty. My favorite is still Robin McKinley's version. The story was fast flowing, could have had more character development and world building, because I think they would be interesting! but entertaining and engaging.
