Although it was challenging, I did manage to unhaul some books this month! If you want to know what they are and why I‘m unhauling them, you‘ll have to watch the video! 😉 https://youtu.be/11cAmX5FuxE

#booktubenetwork #bookvideo #bookunhaul #bookwormproblems #gettingridofbooks #readingpreferences #booked #toomanybooks #bookaddiction

EadieB @Butterflyamore Good job! I think you made wise decisions. I looked up the books as you were speaking and I agree especially with The Girl Before as I gave that 1 star and decided it was a waste of time. I have gotten rid of 110 books in January. I posted them on paperbackswap.com and have been mailing them to those who have requested them. I also get a credit for each book and can order new books with my credits. 2d
EadieB @Butterflyamore I need to drastically downsize as my daughter and granddaughter are coming to live with us in late June from Virginia. Mostly I am getting rid of historical fiction as I mostly enjoy historical mystery and I don‘t find myself gravitating to the hist/fiction. It has been alleviating stress as I don‘t feel so overwhelmed by my excessive amount of books I own. I will continue each month to release about 100/month. (edited) 2d
Butterflyamore @EadieB That‘s a really impressive number! I definitely understand your feelings on historical fiction, as I‘m more inclined to gravitate toward HF with some mystery in it but there are some exceptions. I‘ll have to check paperbackswap.com out. I use other platforms but that sounds really interesting! 1d
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I am moving some boxes of old books into storage for now and in cataloging them, I pulled some out that I am no longer interested in. As I read others, I'll be unhauling the ones I didn't love. 1d

When you read a book that can make you laugh out loud one moment and then have you crying the next, you know you‘ve just discovered a special novel. Olive, Again is the perfect compilation to Olive Kitteridge. Some stories were a little out-there but the overall collection was masterful. Elizabeth Strout has written an extraordinary character and a town full of memorable inhabitants #AllTheFeels

charl08 Yes! She's a genius. 3w
BarbaraBB Wow, great review and recommendation 💚 3w
erzascarletbookgasm Great review! Does it fulfill any #Booked 2020 prompts you think? 3w

AmyG This is my ebook right now and I am loving it. @erzascarletbookgasm I am using it for my #Booked2020 #covercrush book. 3w
erzascarletbookgasm @AmyG thanks! The cover does look pretty! 👌 3w
Cinfhen It might work for #LoL @erzascarletbookgasm and I need to look and see if it works for anything else but truthfully it was SO GOOD that I don‘t care if it doesn‘t count towards any challenge. It was really fabulous @charl08 @BarbaraBB @AmyG 3w
Reviewsbylola Maybe I‘ll give this one a shot after all. 3w
Cinfhen Did you read Olive Kitteridge @Reviewsbylola because this was the perfect sequel 🙌🏻❣️I know I‘m going to be thinking of this book for a long time. It‘s like a Poisonwood Bible ( in terms of storytelling) or 3w
BarbaraBB A friend of mine (who I trust blindly when she recommends books) says this one is very good as well. So if you want to continue your Strout trip 😉😘 3w
Reviewsbylola I thought I had but I was thinking of 3w
Centique I‘m so glad to hear it lives up to the first one! 😍 3w
Cinfhen It really, really does @Centique 💕How‘s holiday going?? 3w
Cinfhen I‘m already looking to pick that one up @BarbaraBB and the brothers make an appearance in Olive Again, which is probably nice “closure” for Burgess Boys fans😁 3w
Cinfhen I would suggest picking up Olive Kitteridge first @Reviewsbylola and I loved that book too. It‘s funny, I read Lucy and didn‘t like it at all 😜maybe I need to revisit Lucy 3w

Challenges | Ben Bova
post image

Two genres I want to read more of this year are memoirs and mysteries. When I started to make myself a pretty bingo card, I thought “let‘s make a challenge!” So, if you want to add another challenge, please come join me. The prompts are deliberately short and broad, so you can interpret as you prefer. Only rule is read from the genres.

#mandmchallenge2020 #memoirsmysteries

**sharing is appreciated, even if you aren‘t joining in**😘😘

Cinfhen I‘ll happily share 💕💕💕 2mo
Librarybelle Oh! I‘m terrible at following through with challenges, including my own (🙄), but I‘m very intrigued! Thanks for the tag! 2mo
Theeclecticreader This seems like fun! At rush of sounding stupid, what‘s a POC author? 2mo
See All 51 Comments
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Theeclecticreader Thanks. That‘s a person of color who‘s an author. 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Cinfhen Thanks sweetie! 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Librarybelle Haha. Yes, I ditched one this year. Just lost focus ... 🤪 2mo
Theeclecticreader @BarbaraTheBibliophage Thank you! Of course now that seems obvious 🙄 2mo
4thhouseontheleft I‘ll give it a go! I listen to memoirs on audiobook frequently, so this may be doable for me! 2mo
TheSpineView Thanks for the tag! I'm in!📚 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @4thhouseontheleft Yay!! Hopefully it‘ll be easy to double up among challenges too! 👊🏻♥️📚 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @TheSpineView Yay! Glad to have ya! Now I‘ve got to do some planning ... 2mo
4thhouseontheleft I guess we can‘t start now, huh? 😂 I‘m listening to a great one for the celebrity prompt! 2mo
Cathythoughts Thankyou! For the tag ! I‘ve taken a screenshot & I will join in ... mystery I love ... memoir will be a challenge ... One can but try 👍🏻❤️📚 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @4thhouseontheleft ooooh I‘ve been wondering how that is. Does he narrate? (And, yeah ... you can‘t count it for 2020, darn it ...) 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Cathythoughts No reason you couldn‘t do the whole thing with mysteries ... either way, it‘ll be fun to face the bingo card together! 2mo
4thhouseontheleft @BarbaraTheBibliophage It's a different narrator, but he does a fantastic job. 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @4thhouseontheleft Thanks—I‘m looking forward to your full review! 2mo
Megabooks I will share later today and then try to figure out if I could complete it with mostly memoirs. 😂😂 My mom pretty much only reads mysteries with the occasional historical fiction, but I only read them for challenges. I don‘t like whodunnits, but maybe I should try cozies? You‘ve certainly got me thinking, Barbara! 2mo
Crazeedi I think ill add to my #booked2020! Thanks! I love both genres 2mo
RedxoHearts This looks like a fun challenge for the new year! I can already think of several memoirs I've been meaning to read to fill the spots 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Crazeedi Yay!! I love them too and read entirely too few mysteries this year! 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Megabooks Thanks for sharing whenever you have time. I think each prompt works for either genre, but maybe a cozy or two would stretch your reading year a bit. It‘s up to you! 😘 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @RedxoHearts Would love to have you!! ♥️😎📚 2mo
vivastory This sounds great! I'm definitely interested! 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @vivastory Yay!! Hope it works for you! 2mo
vivastory Would new series be a series that I've never read, or one that is relatively recent with just 2 or 3 titles? 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @vivastory It could be either. Whichever works for you! 2mo
vivastory Great. Thanks for posting this! 2mo
LeahBergen This sounds fun! I‘m changing up my challenges for the upcoming year and adding a few “personally tailored” ones like yours. I‘m challenging myself to read one Persephone book per month. 😄 2mo
MrsV This looks so fun! I would love to do this! Room for another? 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @LeahBergen I change my challenges up every year—except #Booked! It just has to work for me. Your Persephone one sounds good—especially when there‘s a bunch of those books on your shelf! 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @MrsV Of *course* we have room! Glad to have you! 🎉♥️📚 2mo
Crazeedi @Librarybelle me too but I'm going to try my best next year! 2mo
rubyslippersreads @LeahBergen This sounds good because I could read the Persephones I own and have an excuse to buy more. 😹 2mo
rubyslippersreads @BarbaraTheBibliophage I agree with @MrsV and hope you have room for one more. 😊 2mo
kspenmoll This looks like such fun as I enjoy both genres. Thanks Barbara! Would live to join in! (edited) 2mo
ferskner Oh my gosh this sounds great! I'm going to be doing a billion challenges this year! 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @rubyslippersreads Always have room for more friends to motivate me to read! Glad you‘re joining us! ♥️ 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @kspenmoll Yay! I‘m glad you‘re joining us! ♥️ 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @ferskner Thanks—glad you‘re thinking of joining us! I always say I‘m going to limit my challenges. Then ... it always gets out of hand!🤪😘 2mo
gradcat @BarbaraTheBibliophage Stupid me! I searched under the wrong tag, but here it is! I‘m joining in on this one, if you‘ll allow me, because these are probably my two favorite genres! ♥️♥️♥️ Oh, I should ask if there‘s room for one more? Say, me, for example? 😂 (edited) 2mo
BookwormAHN Sounds like a fun challenge. I love mysteries and I need to read more memoirs. 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @gradcat Of COURSE you can join in! The more the merrier...especially since you tried so hard to find the #mandmchallenge2020! 👊🏻📚♥️ 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @BookwormAHN Come join us!! 😘 2mo
gradcat I‘m very content now. 🥰 2mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @gradcat That‘s great to hear! 🤓 2mo
Mdargusch I think this looks fun! I‘m in! 👍🏼 1mo
Hazel2019 I want to join! Do I need to do anything special to sign up? 1mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Hazel2019 Yay—that‘s terrific! No sign up forms or anything. Just tag me and use the hashtag so we can all support and cheer for everyone! 1mo
DebinHawaii I‘m late to the party as usual but these are two favorite genres so I‘d love to join in! 4w

It‘s a little later than usual but I finally got my November wrap up video up! I‘m excited to talk with you about the books I finished last month: https://youtu.be/1tCHRTxp5FU

#novemberwrapup #bookreviews #booktalk #wellread #readinglife #booked #bookpile #youtubeforbooks #booktube #happyreading #arcs

EadieB @Butterflyamore Sad to hear you didn‘t like The Other Woman as I have the ARC too however, I have read her Paula Maguire series and found the books very well written. I am interested in reading Darling Rose Gold, The Cheerleaders and Trace of Evil from your reviews. I‘ve read 13 from November but did not read any NF. My favorite reads are Whitethorn Woods by Maeve Binchy, The Third Twin and Night Over Water by Ken Follett - all 5 stars from me. 2mo
EadieB @Butterflyamore The Other Mrs. by Mary Kubica is a psychological thriller that I know you will love! It was hard to put down, suspects galore, edge of your seat surprise ending. So check that one out! Really good! I have to listen to your movie YouTube as I was traveling home from Mexico when I got it the other day. Your tag today has reminded me to do that so I‘ll be back to you after I finish it. 2mo
Butterflyamore @EadieB I have been hearing lots of great things about The Other Mrs. I definitely want to read it! I‘ll probably wait until it comes out, as I‘m a little overwhelmed with ARCs right now and want to be able to read some of my other books, too. I did see one review state that they couldn‘t believe that the same mind that wrote the Paula Maguire series wrote The Other Wife. Maybe I‘ll reconsider my stance on not reading another one of her books. 2mo
EadieB @Butterflyamore I would definitely check out her Paula Maguire books! 2mo

CrowCAH Are you hosting a musical challenge this month? 2mo
Cinfhen Nope @CrowCAH I‘ve hung up my headphones 🎧😂I‘m no longer hosting the musical challenge 😔 2mo
CrowCAH @Cinfhen what?! That must have been the reason for your “thank you” post for all persons who helped you host in the past years. Enjoy your extra free time! 😊 2mo
Cinfhen Thanks @CrowCAH 😘 2mo
TheAromaofBooks @Cupcake12 - here is the original sign-up post. Hope this helps you make some sense of the challenge!! I know any of the hosts will be happy to answer any questions you have. 😊 1mo

Anyone lining up their reading challenges for next year? I'm deciding to go for all or mostly new challenges this year (still undecided about #readharder). So I'm looking at #monthlymotifGXO, #monthlykeywordGXO (maybe challenging myself to fill both with one book!), maybe #MMDchallenge from Modern Mrs Darcy once it comes out, so long as it is announced in an accessible format, not as an image of text. Any other suggestions?

Chrissyreadit What are the two monthly challenges? 2mo
Soubhiville I‘m thinking of sticking with just #MountTBR this year, but #popsugar prompts also look fun, so I may casually try that as well. 2mo
Lauredhel @Soubhiville I'm waiting to see if pop sugar posts am accessible version 2mo
See All 13 Comments
Lauredhel @Chrissyreadit if you google the hashtags you should find them :) both by Girl XOXO 2mo
Chrissyreadit Found! Thanks. 2mo
SaturnDoo I haven't been very successful with this year's challenges 😥 Too many RL incidents put my reading time on hold. But I'm definitely going to try again this year. Working on getting my Bujo ready so I have no excuses to start on Jan 1 😄 2mo
sprainedbrain I‘m a challenge freak... I‘m going to look up the two you mentioned. Currently, I‘m planning to do #ReadingWomen, #Booked2020 and #ReadingEurope2020. I‘m on the fence about Popsugar this year, and I haven‘t seen Read Harder prompts yet... are those posted? (edited) 2mo
Lauredhel @sprainedbrain I did find a read harder 2020 prompt page in the google cache, but it's been removed from the site... Maybe posted early accidentally? 2mo
sprainedbrain @Lauredhel That‘s what I found, too... glad to know it wasn‘t just my imagination. I was confused! 2mo
Lauredhel @sprainedbrain having said that I might not do Read Harder again - but #booked2020 looks good, I haven't done that before! 2mo
Lauredhel @sprainedbrain is five challenges too many? WE SHALL FIND OUT 2mo
sprainedbrain @Lauredhel I am doing five this year and I think I‘m going to finish them all! Read Harder just seems to be getting... ummm.. harder every year. Lol. I like to use books on my tbr or library books as often as I can for challenges and find myself having to buy special or obscure books for Read Harder. So it‘s not one of my five this year. 🤪 I‘m sure I will at least look this year. This will be my third year of #Booked. I like that one! 2mo
Lauredhel @sprainedbrain i hear you on Read Harder - this year I am looking for prompts with a little more latitude (edited) 2mo

1. The community and people
2. I scroll past if it‘s not for me. I am seeing a lot of talk about #screamathon today. I have no issue with people unfollowing or muting if that doesn‘t interest you! I had no control over a similar hashtag created by someone else this year. Halloween is my jam, but I hold my breath through all the Christmas stuff. 🤷🏻‍♀️
3. Litsy swag
4. Daily
5. A mix of things
6. 🛑 the trending # feature

sprainedbrain #screamathon is my favorite time of the year! 3mo
Texreader Litsy swag! Agreed! 3mo
Kimberlone Hopefully more people are aware of the hashtag muting feature now and will be able to filter out the posts they don‘t want to see. I just tend to scroll past stuff that doesn‘t interest me rather than be bothered by it 3mo
See All 24 Comments
4thhouseontheleft @Kimberlone It would help if we could do it from the app. I know all the swap and challenges take a lot of work to organize and run, and major props to the people that do a bunch of them. Between #screamathon and #booked2020 that‘s basically my limit as far as hosting goes. 😂 3mo
StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego I really don't like how this line of questioning had created a kind of Litsy shaming in how people choose to post. There is no wrong was to use Litsy. People are concerned that there is less activity, but then making the people who do post feel bad. 3mo
4thhouseontheleft @StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego I wasn‘t going to post this at all, until I saw a lot of comments about screamathon and wanted to address it. I truly don‘t mind people unfollowing me if our interests don‘t match up. I‘m not here for likes or litfluence. 😃 But yeah, my philosophy is you do you, and I‘ll do me. 😄 3mo
Kimberlone @4thhouseontheleft agreed. The functions should be same whether website or app based. 3mo
Addison_Reads @4thhouseontheleft I personally love #screamathon. It's the first activity I ever participated in on Litsy. Everyone has their own tastes, but we're all adults, if you don't want to see something, scroll past or unfollow, seems simple enough. Part of what makes Litsy great is we're all different. 😁 3mo
LibrarianRyan @StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego I hope people don‘t feel bad. That‘s never my intention and I‘m sure it‘s not others. Sometimes I think it‘s nice to know pet peeves. Don‘t you want to know them in any relationship. It allows us to talk things out instead of exploding and having the call out culture you see on other platforms. It seems more rational give and take for most people instead of arguing and craziness. (edited) 3mo
LibrarianRyan @4thhouseontheleft I loved screamathon and you did a n awesome job. Your right, you had no control of the similar tags and they were so close. And you had yours first. I won‘t lie, I got them mixed up and I only participated in one. Don‘t let it bother you. You did great and we‘re an excellent host! 3mo
4thhouseontheleft @LibrarianRyan 💚💙💜 And I am having a blast with #BBRC. My favorite challenge this year! (But shhh...don‘t tell my #booked2019 co-hosts). 🤣🤣 3mo
CarolynM A big yes to Litsy swag🙂 3mo
StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego @LibrarianRyan I don't think anyone is purposely making anyone feel bad, it's just an unintended result that I don't care for. And all the concerns that people have have already been discussed and argued about at length on the OnwardLitsy FB group. I just don't like negativity spilling over into Listy. But the muting function is becoming known about, so heop 3mo
StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego @LibrarianRyan *So hopefully that helps people enjoy the app better! 3mo
LibrarianRyan @4thhouseontheleft thanks. I‘m trying at #booked but it‘s pushed me. Which is a good thing. read header doesn‘t push me, but I know the people hosting book. Have to earn my A. It‘s weird but it‘s how my mind works. 😃 3mo
LibrarianRyan @StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego very true. I “left” Fb almost two years ago and don‘t regret it. Technically I still have an account for work purposes, but I‘m only one like 2 times a year, do my conference posts and that‘s it. It‘s just so toxic. 🤢🤮. I didn‘t realize the onward group had grown toxic as well. That‘s a bummer. Here hoping it stays away from my sanctuary. 3mo
LibrarianRyan @marleed 😁❤️👍🏻 3mo
Sace Personally I love the Halloween alongs, but I did a lot of unfollowing and hashtag muting this year. I know you have no control on similar hashtags but my perception is that the similar names/events happen frequently and usually by the same members and being the cynical a-hole that I am it just annoys me so I start unfollowing a ton of people when those copycat hashtags pop up. 3mo
ljuliel Regarding the Halloween posts ? I didn‘t really follow along with any of it, so no idea what that‘s about . My questions were not intended to cause problems, only to try to see why it‘s gotten so quiet in here and so many have left. I think everyone that responded was very polite and civil. It sometimes does some good to allow folks to offer their opinions in a civil manner. @LibrarianRyan summed it up well. 3mo
4thhouseontheleft @ljuliel I didn‘t know you were the creator! I wasn‘t sure it came from lol. I think it has sparked some interesting discussions. 3mo
ljuliel Yea, I certainly didn‘t intend for it to offend anyone. I just think everyone gave their own opinions . Some I might agree with, others I don‘t, but I‘m glad everyone felt comfortable enough to talk. I‘m sorry if it caused problems with anyone. 3mo
ljuliel @StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego I didn‘t see any Litsy shaming. I saw people giving their opinions in a civil manner. 3mo

4thhouseontheleft @Sace Absolutely! The giveaway is not mandatory for participation. And you've made a great point. Next year, I'll add an option on the form to opt out for the giveaway. 🙂 3mo
4thhouseontheleft @AmyG 🎉 🎉Thanks for sharing on your page! 3mo
Sace Yay! If it's OK, I'll lurk and be inspired in 2020 and maybe wait until 2021 to officially sign up? Lurking is what I do best 🤣 3mo
4thhouseontheleft @Sresendez12 That's great! I'd love to know which prompts had you reading outside of your comfort zone the most? For me, it was related to a podcast, and CliFi. @Hesptapleton You're on a roll! This is a fun time of year! I'm working on my choices today. 3mo
sammisho Thanks for the tag! I have been a little AMA and missed this! 3mo
4thhouseontheleft @Sace If you haven't filled out the form yet, I can go in and edit that option now. Plus, I'll make a note of it. The giveaway is really just a side bonus, the real fun is sharing and seeing what everyone is reading! But either way is fine, you are welcome to lurk too! 😆 3mo

BookwormAHN Signed up 😸 3mo
sheffner Yay! Looking forward to it. 3mo
RealLifeReading Thanks for the tag! I was terrible at actually posting about books for this year‘s so I‘m going to try harder for 2020! 3mo
Pamwurtzler Thanks for the tag! I fell off this year but will try again next year! 3mo
AsYouWish This may be a silly question, (it has been a long week and my brain is ready to shut down!) but does Tartan Noir equal Scottish Romance? 3mo
4thhouseontheleft @AsYouWish Tartan Noir is Scottish crime fiction. But we are always flexible with the interpretation of prompts! 3mo
AsYouWish I could do Scottish Crime Fiction! I am all for anything Scottish related! Although I might need some suggestions of good ones! @4thhouseontheleft Thank you for answering so quickly!!! 3mo
Butterfinger I signed up. EXCITED!!!! 3mo
Bklover Thanks for the tag! Signing up right now! 3mo
Bklover @BGam You might like this challenge for next year! 🙂 3mo
Bklover Uhhhhh. Dumb question but what qualifies as a millennial author? 3mo
Soozee Thanks for the tag. I enjoyed #booked 2019 so would be happy to sign up for #booked2020. 3mo
4thhouseontheleft @bklover pretty much any author in the Millennial generation, born between 1981 and 1996, so they would be 23-38 years old. 3mo
Bklover Got it- thanks! 3mo
LauraBeth Thanks for the tag! I failed miserably this year with Booked but I‘m inspired to try it again for 2020! 😀 3mo
StephanieMarie So excited! What authors would qualify as a pan Asian author? 3mo
BGam Thank you 😊 3mo
4thhouseontheleft @StephanieMarie It's a fairly vague definition, essentially an author from Asia. An Asian-American author would count as well, or interpret however you choose! This prompt has a lot of options. 3mo
LittleBug Discovered #booked2019 too late, so real glad I saw this post in time to join☺️ 2mo
YasmiNova Done! Let's see how far i get this time :) thanks for the tag @4thhouseontheleft! 2mo

MicheleinPhilly WTF is tartan noir?? 😂 3mo
Cinfhen @MicheleinPhilly well since you asked so NICELY: Tartan Noir is a form of crime fiction particular to Scotland and Scottish writers. 3mo
MicheleinPhilly Hey, you know me Cindy! I don‘t beat around the bush! 😘 #philly 3mo
Cinfhen I said SO NICELY for a reason #PottyMouth @MicheleinPhilly 😘 3mo
erzascarletbookgasm VERY interesting. Will take a look 🧐😘 3mo
erzascarletbookgasm What‘s Silk Punk?? 3mo
TheEllieMo Not done this one before, can I check something? By “free to read in any order” do you mean that if I read something in Spring that fits a Fall prompt, I can still tick it off? 3mo
Cinfhen Yup @TheEllieMo you can read complete seasons or bits and pieces from each season spread throughout the year🤓whatever strikes your fancy 3mo
Cailey_Mac Sooo basically you can read any prompt from any season, as long as you finish all the seasons in one year correct? And is this starting in 2020 or now? 😊 3mo
Cinfhen @erzascarletbookgasm silkpunk is a blend of science fiction and fantasy. silkpunk draws inspiration from classical East Asian antiquity. I‘ll find the list of recommendations and tag you 3mo
Cinfhen @Cailey_Mac it starts Jan 1 - Dec 31 2020!!! It‘s fun and people get really creative with their choices which is always great!!! 3mo
Cinfhen @Cailey_Mac and even if you only complete 10 prompts you‘re eligible to be entered on a drawing for each book read earns you a chance to win a gift card 3mo
Cailey_Mac @Cinfhen oh cool! I think I will join then, and I hope with this next semester of college I will be able to balance my time out better so I can read; this semester has been murder for my reading 😅 3mo
Cinfhen Awesome @Cailey_Mac don‘t stress about it!! Just read whatever you like and you‘ll be surprised how many boxes you‘ll tick off without even trying 🥳 3mo
Cailey_Mac @Cinfhen awesome, will do! I‘m sure I will have fun doing it too📖🤗 3mo
TheEllieMo @Cinfhen thanks 😊 3mo
TheEllieMo @Cinfhen thanks 😊 3mo

Reviewsbylola I quit #pop19 mid year for that reason! @Megabooks I‘m just doing this one next year. 3mo
Bookzombie I‘m not sure I‘m going to complete this year‘s challenge. 😕I told myself no challenges next year, but your challenge is always fun and tempting! 🤔 3mo
Cinfhen We tried to keep the prompts pretty vague @Bookzombie so lots of different books would work. Hopefully you‘ll find books that work without even trying 😊 and every book read earns a drawing entry so it‘s always a win!!! 3mo
mrp27 Yay, I'm in! But I better get cracking so I can finish 2019! 😬 3mo
Cinfhen Fantastic @mrp27 💜📚🧡📚💚📚 3mo

4thhouseontheleft @Simona Glad you‘re coming back for another year! 3mo

jenniferw88 @Cinfhen currently composing you an email re #gothichorror - you've chosen another of my #hobbyhorses (another being a certain tv show lol!). Will share some on here later but can go into more detail on the email! 3mo
Cinfhen Thanks @jenniferw88 looking forward to seeing your thoughts 3mo
jenniferw88 @Cinfhen just sent it! There's quite a few 🤣🤣🤣 3mo
Crazeedi I just signed up!! 3mo
Crazeedi I've not done this, are there rules? Do I have to have books planned and posted?? 3mo
Hooked_on_books Ok, I‘ve seen these posts before but haven‘t previously joined, but I plan to jump in for 2020! Just signed up. 3mo
SaturnDoo So excited to see this. I've been patiently waiting 🤣😂 thank you for hosting again. Lots of fun. 3mo
Cinfhen Nope @Crazeedi @Hooked_on_books not necessary to “commit” to a plan!! Just read what you like/ when you like and you‘ll be amazed at how many prompts you‘ll check off. There are only 3 “rules” 1. Have FUN!! 2. U can ONLY use 1 book towards 1 prompt 3. To be eligible for the quarterly drawing you need to post a wrap up summary anytime during the last 10 days of the quarter (More info is given on the signup form) 3mo
Cinfhen Excellent @SaturnDoo ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️looking forward to seeing what you read 😊 3mo
Crazeedi @4thhouseontheleft @BarbaraTheBibliophage @Cinfhen some of the prompts I dont understand, so I'm thinking I can ask for help?? 3mo
4thhouseontheleft @Crazeedi you can absolutely ask for help! There are slightly longer explanations on the google form, have you had a look at that? If that doesn't answer your question, ask away! 3mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Crazeedi We like to pick prompts that are a bit open to your own interpretation also. If it‘s a new genre to you, try googling also. There are always articles with ‘10 best/new books of this genre.” If not, ask away! 3mo
Cinfhen @Kangaj1 click on the link in above blurb to sign up 😁 2mo
Cinfhen Here you go @kaysworld1 ❣️❣️❣️Welcome to the group 🎉📚🎉📚🎉 2mo
