My office was doing a special Olympics fundraiser at Barnes today… so I *had* to buy some books. 😁 These looked fun… anyone read any?

Oh yes of course I also went to my favorite independent bookstore today (tagged) — we bought bugga a bunch of things. 😄

BethM Just like there was a free rummage sale at a school letting you shop their scholastic book fair today… clearly we had to support it. 9mo

#IndependentBookstoreDay haul 2! So excited to find Messy Roots, and the puzzle was a wishlist puzzle. Forest looks like a fun game. The rest was from winning a scavenger hunt. It was super fun! 😊

All in all, not a bad book day... Except I got almost no reading done! 😱

I had some store credit at my favorite local bookstore (tagged), so after a long snow day ❄️💨❄️ involving frozen pipes and car repairs, I treated myself with this hearty stack 😁📚🎁 #bookhaul

Also, reading the Declaration of the Rights of Magicians (an involved and rather serious novel) and almost done listening to Cytonic (3rd in the Skyward series). Can‘t believe the 4th doesn‘t come out until 2023! 🥺🥺🥺

BethM Ugh that sucks! We had pipes burst in the middle of winter once. I was so glad we were renting! (And that I was just bc of the cold and poor insulation) 3y

Avanders @BethM oh wow, I bet your landlord wasn‘t as glad 🤭😅 But that‘s crazy — it never happened to me growing up… but it happens… a surprising amount to people down here. I think a lot of us midwesterners are surprised by that bad insulation… 😜 3y

Went to my favorite local new-used bookstore (tagged) and splurged a little on adding to my oz collection and buying a couple books that look like fun, quick reads… all used and great prices! 📚❤️‍🔥💛
