Henry read the criteria and says he would make a great bookshop dog, although he might have to learn not to go out of open doors….

I‘d love to know if you‘ve ever seen any of the Parnassus dogs on your visits to the store?

Also, the book is a bit blurred as Henry kept trying to lick it instead of posing, so it moved a bit! 🤣

We were lucky - the postman arrived at the exact moment we set off for our camping trip so I was able to bring the parcel with me.

Henry will love the squeaky toy but I haven‘t told him it‘s his yet (or tried squeaking it!) as I don‘t think the other campers would appreciate it! 🤣 It will be a surprise for him when we get home.

Had a great, but exhausting weekend in Nashville! We ate lots of tasty food, saw Ed Sheeran in concert, and went to Parnassus books! Bonus: all the books are signed!

Parnassus #bookhaul !!

Parnassus is such a beautifully curated shop. Walking in takes my damn breath away! I scored some signed Helen Ellis because I LOVE HER, and had to miss her recent event because it fell on my 11 year old‘s birthday. 😩 I listened to her newest on pub day, but will wait to buy it in paperback, aka the same size as the others.

#RecentAcquisitions I was lucky enough to go to Parnassus yesterday while I was in Nashville for some medical tests. I picked up Southernmost and Pomegranate there. (Neither were on my radar, but they sounded good!)

August and Covenant are from Amazon. How could I not preorder August when both my co-counselors nominated it for #CampLitsy23?! My #botm box showed up, too! The Audrain is up first!

Finally able to come see this iconic independent bookstore owned by Ann Patchett while in Nashville for work. So lovely and the staff were so nice! And a few books may have followed me home 😉 #indiebookstore

My local #Nashville Litsy friends had our quarterly-ish meetup last weekend, and while the company was the best part, the #bookhaul wasn't too shabby either.

When your dad has a doctor‘s appointment at Green Hills (Nashville), you have to stop by Parnassus. 🤩 I even got to meet shop dog Barnabas, who I love on their Insta!

I‘ll show picks of what I got later (minus a birthday present for a friend whose birthday is in June 🤫).

I took a solo road trip to Nashville and stopped by Parnassus Books! The store is co-owned by Ann Patchett, and it is lovely!

Finally made it to Parnassus on a quick trip to Nashville. Amazing place with a great book-people-are-awesome vibe. Bringing back a sackful of signed copies of various things for Easter presents!

Visiting my oldest son who lives in Nashville. Wow, Parnassus Books is such a lovely bookish place! Ann Patchett is the owner and all of her books for sale here are autographed. I bought her latest, *These Precious Days*, a pin, a sticker, and another book *The Secret Lives of Color* by Kassia St. Clair.

It‘s been ages since I‘ve stepped into #ParnassusBooks. It‘s truly and incredible place. Such a welcoming atmosphere with thoughtful curation and knowledgeable booksellers. I didn‘t want to leave!

Here we go (early) for March... This challenge is really helping me get to some books on my TBR shelf that have been waiting too long! I‘m mixing in some choices for Libby listens and library holds, and a splurge from an indie bookstore if I‘m lucky 🤞🏻#BookSpin #BookSpinBingo

Well, I made it to the Parnassus Books… in the Airport! #pla2020

Went down to Parnassus today to do a little Christmas shopping. As I was buying a few things, including Penguins with People Problems by Mary Laura Philpott, I was told I had just missed her. 😩 On the plus, I saw a super cute shop dog, even though he/she didn‘t wanna talk to me. 😝🐾

So excited! Just had to share!! 🤓🤩🥰

In Nashville for a work-related conference, but got here a few days early to enjoy some time with the hubs. The only “must do”: Parnassus Books. Our 2nd order of business this morning (after food). Walked out with a few new books for the shelves at home. 📚

We are now at the airport on our way back to the Bay Area. But first, a pit stop at Parnassus, because gorgeous gorgeous bookstore. Airports made exquisite because of magical spaces like this one.

Absolutely thrilled to visit Ann Patchett‘s bookstore here in Nashville. Will post my book hunting expedition post in Tennessee soonest! But this place is gorgeous.

Please ignore my busted nails. I found a nice little independent bookstore while visiting family. The speculative fiction selection was kinda small but you know your girl is gonna #bookhaul if she can.
