I really loved this story about two protagonists, who couldn't be more different.
One man, who thinks he's the greatest man in the world & one woman who doesn't want to live her life like the society wants her to. These two & some other characters entertain us in such a great manner that I had to think, why haven't't I read a book from her before, since I love Jane Austen's novels? 😊 #skandalimballsaal

pickGeorgette Heyer is one of those novelists I reread over and over again. While never matching Jane Austin, she is certainly the best Austin substitute on the market. Regency romance at its wittiest and most romantic.
