Please welcome my fourth "adopted" daughter @lilybird I have known her for a year and a half and it feels like forever. She is my colleague, and we had planned to read TOG together this summer. So, when I found out @StayCurious group was starting it next, LilyBird was happy to join. Make her feel welcome!!!!!
repost for @StayCurious:
#LittensLoveSJM I wanted to post this early. After we finish the final installment of #ACOTAR, I will be hosting the #TOG series by SJM. Most say it takes a couple books to really get into the world. I will read the prequel novellas only after the first 3 books in the series. I will read Tower of Dawn before Empire of Storms (these books happen concurrently). I‘d love for you to join me starting June 13th!

What can I say, I'm still the little girl who stayed up all night reading a fantasy book with a love triangle. This book harkened back to those times, while also having a compelling and fun story. I personally prefer this to ACOTAR, but that's because fae and magic aren't as front and center and I enjoy the warrior assassin heroine vibe a bit more. Books 4+ have more fae if that's your jam.
I was #influenced by BookTok and read the Throne of Glass series. I will say I enjoyed it, although some parts I found to be a bit slow. If you‘ve read it, what do you think? I‘ve read many different opinions on it on Goodreads. ⬇️
Read the Court of Thorns and Roses series so of course I had to slip this series in. Worth it so far. Will it be Prince Dorian or Chaol? Shhh, dont tell me.
Just finished Throne of Glass. Kept my attention, had to Start the next one, Crown of Midnight asap. I have not read the prequel The Assassins Blade yet. I probably should have read it first because these books have bits and pieces of the beginning story, I can tell it‘s probably really good. I‘ll give it 4 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️.
I had a $25 gift card, and this set was on sale to the point that it only cost about $30 after that, so I snagged it. Don't know if I'll like it, but I figure if I don't, I'll stick it in my little free library.
Always a good day when you get some new books! 📚
Trying to decide what order I should read them in.
I‘ve been reading these with my best friend and I‘m really enjoying it so far! She‘s on book 4 and I‘m going into book 2 today 🥰📚
My birthday gifts from the hubby… didn‘t post this when I was supposed to 🤦🏼♀️ but love it 🥰

“Lonely?”…”No. I can survive well enough on my own— if given proper reading material.”

Look what I just snagged!
🍃Is there a book that you‘re always being recommended and you must read this year?
A: I've only read the first one because a friend recommend it to me and I loved the story so much. I din't continue reading the rest because I didn't have much time, but I hope to do it really soon.

The Throne of Glass series is one of my favorites. Celaena/Aelin starts out as an assassin and ends as a queen. Full of action and LOTS of couples. I mean there are 7-8 amazing couples. The series is told from multiple perspectives. The perspectives probably change a couple of times every chapter. It is also told from third person. I would 100% recommend this book! 10/10
