It‘s here! It‘s here! My first #bookhaul from Book Outlet arrived today. Sadly, there was no sneaking the box in...it arrived while me and my BF were both home. Luckily his only response was “wow, that‘s a lot of books.” I chose not to mention the second box that is en route. 🤭

I've never read anything like this before. It's pretty weird and crazy. It also doesn't make good sense. Confusing. I guess I expected more. Cause I loved Dreamology. But its ok. It's good cause it's short.

This book was meta, but not in a fun way. It was trying very hard. I felt the characters were inconsistent. There were some cool ideas but those were never followed through on, like the best friend who wanted to be more then a side character.

Literally is a super cute book about a girl who finds out an author is writing her life. Rating: 4/5

A fun, quick read about a teenage girl who discovers her life is not her own, but an author's creation. What happens when a character rebels against the limits of genre and author? That's the metafictional conceit of this YA novel. A good palate cleanser. 3.5 ⭐️

One of our Teen Board Members snapped this awesome pic while in Florida for spring break 🌺 while she was reading 📚 at the pool. We are very jealous of both her view 🏊 ☀️ and her reading 📖 time! She started reading #LITERALLY by @lucy.keating yesterday on the plane and just finished it the next day! Our review loved @lucy.keating's first book #DREAMOLOGY and loved this one as well. We will have her full review posted soon!

Maybe I would have liked this as a kid, but now it just seems self-serving and awkward.
