“I think she's strange. Have you noticed her odd little smile“
I was not big fan of the plot of the story. The way it was formatted and the pictures were great and it made the story flow very nicely but the plot just was not very interesting and not much happened so I cant see it keeping a students attention. The ending was also very anticlimactic. I could see the author was trying to keep it vague so the reader can guess the ending but it wasn't done great.
This book was very interesting. The images and way the book was written was executed well. It is about a class who was going to get a new teacher and one student was plotting on how they were going to prank this new teacher like he as done all the other teachers. The students are encouraging him to prank the new teacher. They see the new teacher and they immediately feel uneasy. She is very scary looking and they notice somethings not right.
Guess what I‘m going to introduce to the nibling now! 💖
Here‘s my #SpookyAesthetic. I was Jughead for Halloween last year. Lost the cat in the separation but he made for some good built in holiday decor when I had him. 🐈⬛ 🖤 This year I am going to be Jessica Fletcher and yes I do own a shirt with that graphic on the bottom right. Love her 😆 #HauntedHollowSwap
I think 10 year old me would be pretty giddy about this interaction 💚
Donation number 5 of the year in what works out as a Mrs. Jeepers outfit. If I worked here I would wear this mask everyday 😂🧛🏻♀️💉 Also I realized that the donation chairs they seat you in would make perfect reading chairs. 😅 I love putting my feet up when I read.
On this week‘s episode of my book podcast, I have a highly requested title (Book 1 in the Bailey School Kids series!) AND two highly requested guests — Andrew and Craig from Overdue Podcast! We chat about class clown behavior, ambiguous endings (really — IS the teacher a vampire?!?!), supernatural events, goldfish noises, and the transition from reading picture books to YA. ✏️ Link to listen in bio!
Decided to get a head start and post my #BFC goals for #BFCr4. I know 25 seems like a hefty goal but 24 of those are from the Bailey School Kids Series I hope to finish before the end of the challenge. I was denied from donating blood this month so I want to get my iron up in time to donate by the end of October 🧛🏻♀️📚 @wanderinglynn
It was hella rainy yesterday so I didn‘t have my phone out much but here‘s my belated Halloween pic. Jury‘s still out on whether my brooch can control children as well as the one real Mrs. Jeepers wears. 😜 #Halloween #BlackCatChallenge

The title grabbed me. 😜
A little over a year ago I decided to re-collect my favorite series as a kid once I found out they were making new illustrations for the covers. 🙅🏻I just recently completed my collection and can't wait to start a reread of the whole series! #whatafeeling #AugustGrrrl
1 & 2 of the #vampchallenge
I'm pretty sure the B. S. Kids introduced me to my first vampire. I'll nudge my kids toward this series. I'd love for them to love fantasy.
I finished the 4th book of the M. I. a few weeks ago and I'll check out the last two very soon. I like the vampires in this series- they're creepy and more old school, I think- I have not read Stoker or Rice. @freyaheart

For the #BestKids, I'm going with the Bailey School Kids. They weren't necessarily super smart, as they tended to be a tad overly superstitious, but I loved reading about them all the time when I was little. #OctPhotoChallenge
