Sweet Disorder | 
Last #BookSpin list of the year! I don't think my tbr list has actually gotten any shorter over the course of the year, but at least it's changed. I've really enjoyed creating the randomizer and working with it, and I learned some things too.

My reading buddy woke up and demanded attention. I had to rub his belly while I read.
I‘m now at 1:31 for the Readathon, with a chapter and an epilogue left in SWEET DISORDER. The only thing I dislike about the Readathon is that it hammers home how slowly I read compared to a lot of other people. I seriously envy the 100+ pages per hour crowd. 50‘s about my upper limit with prose. #readathon #deweyoct
100 pages left in SWEET DISORDER! I read for forty minutes before I got up, but now I‘m too hungry to stay abed.
It feels kind of wrong to eat Reece‘s Puffs and drink a caramel latte while I read a book where the heroine dislikes sweet food, but I didn‘t want to spend the time cooking. #deweyoct #readathon

5. This is my 23rd Readathon and to be honest, I can‘t think of any way I‘ll shake things up. I‘m gonna read some novellas and comics and an audiobook, as per usual, with a brief break to attend the FOTL Book Sale.

It‘s important to assemble a good pool of snacks before any given #Readathon. I‘m especially excited to dig into my bag of mango chili lime Harvest Snaps tomorrow. They‘re the BEST. Ditto the mango wafers. But will I do kettle corn or top my popcorn with bacon cheddar goodness? It‘s anyone‘s guess.
I don‘t think I‘ll finish SWEET DISORDER tonight, so I expect it‘ll be the first book I dig into in the morning..
I try really, really hard not to borrow library ebooks unless I really, really want to read them, since I know they often have only a limited number of licenses for each copy and I don‘t want to be wasteful. Kobo keeps reccing SWEET DISORDER to me, though, and it was in the digital catalogue, and I borrowed it without considering my extremely full reading slate. Now it‘s due in 3 days.
Luckily, it‘s awesome so far.

pickBook 2 of #WinterStormReadathon complete! This is a slow burn period romance featuring early 19th century British politics, a plus-size widow and a crippled war hero. Though it breaks many romance conventions, it is still very entertaining. I definitely recommend! #romantsy

Why did I wait so long to read anything by Rose Lerner?! I'm almost finished with the third book in her Lively St. Lemeston series. She writes about characters we normally don't get to see much in historical romance - including a fat heroine, Jewish hero, and a servant class couple. I cannot recommend this series enough! #17booklove #romanticlove #romantsy

Rose Lerner offers to send her newsletter subscribers a holiday short story featuring characters from her novels. Like, in the mail! With Hanukkah confetti! I chose the one about Phoebe and Nick from Sweet Disorder as I still need to read her other books. Romance authors are the best. 😍😍😍
I couldn't decide what to read next, so I finally settled on this anthology - it's like 5 choices in one! (It's not in the Litsy database so I used the title of the one Rose Lerner I've read, as it was thanks to her newsletter that I bought this.)
