Just thought I would try to see if I could see an image I post , no Emperor , just #catsofLitsy
This one is probably more a case of Believing is Seeing than #SeeingIsBeleiving, but it popped into my head when looking at @Eggs #SeptemberSenses prompt.
This classic Hans Christian Anderson story is a #CautionaryTale not to believe everything you are told without confirmation. It is often used in modern settings, as in this cartoon from the last US Presidential Election campaign.

These are some of my #childhoodfavorite (s) I remember asking my parents to read to me and got so frustrated that they wouldn‘t read them 5,6 times a night that I learned to read at 4 years old so that I could continue to read after my parents went to bed. They knew what I was doing but were so proud that they didn‘t stop me and I will always be thankful for that!! #springintoreading @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @vkois88
