I‘ve gotten so behind in this series, but that means I have lots of fabulous books waiting for me! Every installment is so well-written, with unique additions, and just makes me happy 😊

This one is takes place at the Un-Fair, Caerphilly‘s state/county fair alternative, organized by Meg, naturally. Heritage breed chicken theft, llama showings, county rivalry, and a murder of a philandering husband all combine to make up the goofy plot. 😄

Librarybelle I need to read this series! I have the first few but just have not gotten around to it. And, I think the latest one comes out soon. 9mo

About family and the sacrifices we make for family

AnneCecilie With this, I have now read all of Mary Lawson‘s novel and just hope I don‘t have to wait too long for her next one. #DoubleSpin @TheAromaofBooks #2013 #192025 @Librarybelle (edited) 14mo

Another good installment in the October Daye series, which is one of my focus series for #SeriesLove2023. In this one, Toby tries to overthrow an illegitimate ruler while fighting a deadly addiction.

It was delightful to visit a part of the world (Singapore) I have no knowledge of; this is a quick read cozy mystery featuring the ever inquisitive Aunty Lee. I‘ll definitely read the rest in the series! #2013 #192025 #SeeYouInAsia #Adult #BBRC

Need a fast, hilarious, mystery series to read? This one is fantastic and all 5 books are included in your audible membership. Henry Bins is only awake an hour a day and in the first book, he witnesses a murder that he must solve. He develops a laugh out loud relationship with a cat and works to solve a mystery with only an hour a day. Can‘t wait for the next book this summer! #19822022 #2013 #2014 #2015 #2016 #doublespin #february

Mary Bennet gets her own story in this post Pride and Prejudice adaptation. It‘s a sweet story and one that makes you hopeful that the Mary in Austen‘s world did not forever remain the wallflower. Mingle writes the male “love interest” of Mr Walsh with baggage from his youth, so not a perfect character, by Regency standards, and that works well. #2013 #19822022

Such a strange, whimsical, thoughtful, meditation in book form. Written from two perspectives, a teen living in Japan and an author living on a remote Canadian island a decade-ish apart, this exploration of time and space is a bit woo-woo at times but interesting and highly readable. I‘ve had this on my bookshelf for years and am so happy to have finally read it. #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks #Roll100 @PuddleJumper #19822022 #2013

This book is a counterpart to Camus' The Stranger. Told by the brother of Moussa, the Arab man murdered in that book, this is a reflection on #Algerian identity and the consequences of French colonization.
