Only on p. 7, but Mrs. Bennet is such a Mrs.Bennet! She is making me laugh. This book was a birthday gift from my sister, then our bookclub picked it for something to counteract our real lives. 😂😂

Just not into this book- may be my mood or that I feel compelled to finish today as book club is tomorrow night, but I am not feeling it. Do like the historical snippets, portrayal of Lincoln- the supernatural realm & characters at times funny but for some reason, I find them tiresome. Feeling like bailing. Any thoughts? I know many Littens loved this book.

Tamra @kspenmoll my tip is to experience it as a whole rather than try to grasp every detail and nuance. If you let it flow, it will fall into a rhythm. For me, it has enough going on for repeated listening/reading so I wasn‘t worried about catching everything the first time around. That being said, this is a book that seems to be a love or hate.
