The Enchanted Greenhouse | Sarah Beth Durst

Pickpick

Terlu broke the law and was turned into a statue as punishment so it was quite a surprise when she woke up in a snowy forest six years later.
Terlu was sent to the island of Belde, home of an enchanted greenhouse that is failing and the gardener who hopes she can save it.
So cozy and sweet, with a found family of sentient plants and learning that you are worth sticking around for.

Singing plants and honey cakes. It‘s exactly what I needed. Me being me, I could have done without the romance. But I liked the vibe and also the hope.

Honestly, I‘ve been thinking about this book and Very Secret Society constantly lately, so here. I don‘t even need to have magic here, but I‘d love to live in the cozy, found family, magical world built in these two books.

#SundayFunday Have a lovely day, and remember to tag me!

Leslie_Ak2Oh My very first thought was Harry Potter, but then again the more I think about it the more I realize that there are so many worlds would be absolutely wonderful to live in that I became overwhelmed with the idea of having to choose just one….now as I sit, sipping on a cup of tea, I‘m struck with a small amount of gratitude for being able to visit so many different worlds and POVs, even if only in the pages of a book. 20h

The Spellshop | Sarah Beth Durst

Pickpick

The Spellshop follows Kaz a sentient spider plant and the librarian he assists Keila. They are librarians in the great library of Alyssium, a place where the empires knowledge is stored and protected only allowed to the elite few. That is at least until the revolutionaries set fire to the library and they are forced to flee with the few books they are able to rescue.

The Diva Cooks a Goose | Krista Davis

This book is my favorite so far in The Diva series. It's #4. Davis decided to put the murderer right out there. Of course, I didn't realize this genuis of hers until the book was almost over. I just never thought she'd do that, and I applaud her for it.

It's Christmas, and Sophie's brother's sister-in-law is framed for murder. Of course, you know Sophie is going to help if she can. I honestly kept thinking it was one of two people.
