so-so3✨ Very much a young reader series. This first book just introduces the magical idea of the tree house. Reading to baby E for bedtime. He‘s normally just waiting for the pictures, but gives me different reading material while he doesn‘t care what I read right now.

Interesting, but the author is not a historian and didn't have the necessary understanding of the historical context. Also, she makes a lot of unsubstantiated assumptions about what Mary and others were thinking and feeling.

pickI have been loving this manga series. It's basically about a zoo of dinosaurs that hasn't been performing well recently. The zookeepers are trying to take care of the dinosaurs, and help their zoo get back on people's radar. Very educational as well as cute and fun.

pickYes, it's a 'be good, kids' script wrapped up in a poem, but so was How do Dinosaurs Say Good Night and I love that one too. Wholesome, sweet with wonderful illustrations. If you want a quick, festive read for all ages, I highly recommend.
