I guess this counts as a dogs rule book
My 2nd graders are reading it right now on virtual school.
I really loved how Dex never gave up.

The first of the Georgia B&B Mystery series, Nina Fleet decides to track down clues about the murder of a hated community member in her small town. This is a way more memorable cozy mystery, thanks to the cast of characters, including an actor known for his role in horror movies, and a group of nuns. Yes, nuns! It‘s funny and just simply a fun book. It also breaks from cozy tradition and features a dog named Mattie. Audio was great, too! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
I loved this book. In this one Elsa's Grandmother dies & she is tasked with delivering her apology notes. She is also figuring out who the real people in her Grandmother's fairy tales are and how they are all connected. My favorite character is the Wurse a giant black dog that becomes Elsa's protector. Thank you so much for the book @Soubhiville #AuthoraMonth 💙

Good sunrises this week!
I enjoyed this a lot. Set during the Pendle witch trials of 1612, Fleetwood Shuttleworth is desperate to carry this child to full term, employing a local midwife who she suspects may be a wise woman. But one of her husband‘s close friends is on a power trip, determined to bring the witches of Lancaster to account.
This was a short board book. It was fine, and would probably be a big hit with a toddler if told right. For me it was just ehh. Some cute doggies mistake a cat for a skunk and a putrid smell is to be had by all.

I love how the author threads a boy‘s love for a dog into this #middlegrade 9/11 story. An important addition to a classroom shelf or elementary library.

Book 287 11/15/19
Albeit the slow middle, S.T‘s plucky personality and hilarious but wise observations of the human world, paired with Dennis the bloodhound, a loyal, slobbering sweetheart, propelled the book. Not forgetting Genghis Cat (My oh my, what cattitude! LOL) and Winnie the Poodle too, whose brief appearances & account on the apocalypse were like that salt & pepper you never thought you‘d need until you had it.
A keeper!
