19-2020 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A retelling of Beauty & The Beast. Loved it! I did find myself at times comparing to ACOTAR but this is a more PG version. Cant wait to get into book two.

Just finished reading this and it was so goo! I had a really hard time putting it down. Harper, Rhen, and Grey have all lodged themselves in my heart and I have no choice but to read the next book immediately! Thankful for Kindle books that can be purchased and read at the exact moment I need them!

MartinaLove I am currently reading the sequel, which is, really good by the way :) 1d

I truly love meaningful lines in books and I want to share some of my favorites from last year‘s reads with you: https://youtu.be/dCc0BpbIm-s

EadieB @Butterflyamore Enjoyed your quotes. Hare some interesting quotes from books I have read:
“When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream.” – Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist.

“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.” -The Little Prince

EadieB “Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it yet.” - L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

“I had the epiphany that laughter was light, and light was laughter, and that this was the secret of the universe.” – Donna Tartt, The Goldfinch

“In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart.“ - Anne Frank, Diary of a Young Girl

EadieB “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...” - Dr Seuss The Places You Will Go

“Just think happy thoughts and you‘ll fly.” – J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

I can't even begin to put into words how much I love this book. It's an incredible story of bravery, finding oneself, growth, female empowerment and strength all wrapped up in a dark, real, powerful spin on a fairytale we all know.

Guys, I cried. So. Much. Reading this. Amazing, happy, ugly tears. The writing is beautiful and has so many fantastic quotes. This is going to be one that stays with me for a long time.

Pleasantly surprised to have this hold come in last night so I may be able to squeeze in at least one more #NewYearWhoDis read before the month is over.

I‘m so mad at myself for starting this series when it wasn‘t finished because I am obsessed. My feelings on Prince Rhen are mixed but I‘m obsessed with Harper. Upon finishing, I immediately walked a mile down the street through the snow on Friday and bought the second book.

alisonrose My Plain Jane was so fun! I think I liked My Lady Jane a bit more, but they‘re both terrific. Looking forward to the third one! 6d
Charityann @alisonrose I haven‘t read My Lady Jane yet, but it‘s on my TBR pile. I‘m excited about the third one too! 😊 6d

Bailedbailed

I can't do it. I really tried. I tried for most of the year. It started off good. The descriptive writing in the story is remarkable. You feel like you're really there. The story however, just isn't grabbing me. I always feel so bad when I bail on a book. I'm still haunted by the one other book I couldn't bring myself to finish. So badly so, that I try to read it periodically and just can't make it. This book will probably do the same to me.

jen_the_scribe I feel the same way when I bail on a book, but I'm trying to teach myself that life is too short to not be reading the books I do enjoy. And there are so many out there yet to be discovered. 6d
SmartSassery @jen_the_scribe Totally understand that struggle. Thinking of the books I have waiting is the only thing that let me put it down. I had to give myself a little pep talk. "Come on now. We're not going to quit reading, we're just quitting this book." ? 6d
