Here's to our #familytradition! I am Mexican and my husband is Romanian. We have joined our two cultures to create our Christmas Eve feast: tamales, ponche (punch), champurrado, and same (Romanian cabbage rolls). Everything was delicious! And now we are spending the night sleeping in front of our Christmas tree. 💕

One of our family traditions growing up was making and decorating sugar cookies together. This is by no means my family's recipe, but I thought it would be fun to try this recipe I saw in this book. What I will say is that this icing is not best for sugar cookies. Tasty though.

#FamilyTradition Since I was a young girl in the 80s, my family would drive through the J Iverson Riddle Development Center and Hospital to see Christmas scenes. It was so magical seeing Charlie Brown ice skating with Snoopy and hearing Dolly's I'll Be Home with Bells On.
