Little Women | Louisa May Alcott

Day 2 of 7: Books that made a lasting impression on me

I often feel impacted more by authors than specific books. Little Women was the first, but I went on to read many books by and about Louisa May Alcott. Her fierce determination and independence were characteristics I have always appreciated. She‘s also one of many authors introduced to me by my grandma.

Here are seven(+) books #TotheLeftTotheLeft of a book shelf that houses colorful editions of classic literature. All are read except for the John Steinbeck book. I enjoy the Arthurian Legend so I‘m not sure what is taking so long to get with that book.

Megabooks @Ruthiella I sort my books by size and whether I‘ve read them, so small hardcovers go with trade paperbacks, which are separate from full-size hardcovers. BOTM has its own place too. And I agree it is endlessly fascinating to see how people group them! 5y

Great Kipling Stories: Together with a Life of Rudyard Kipling | Rudyard Kipling

7 Books on the Left of a bookshelf. These are old books - most of them. I got the Kipling book from a wonderful neighbor lady when I was a child. My husband just finished the Fred Rogers‘ book and must not have known where to put it. And Santa is out all the time if you‘re wondering. #tothelefttotheleft
