I didn‘t know anything about this book or author going into this. The author wrote this book as a farewell to her 2-year-old daughter as she was dying from pancreatic cancer at age 35. So sweet as it subtly shows the change in their relationship as she gets sicker, I‘m not gonna lie, I‘m fighting back tears now. Jace enjoyed hearing a few French words (mommy is currently learning French!) and the beautiful illustrations. 5⭐️
