There‘s a big fair in town and of course Meg is in charge of almost everything and trying to solve a murder and poultry theft at the same time. These books make no sense but are still fun to read.
I‘m actually sitting outside reading and I‘m not sweating or being attacked by bugs!
pickThe 3rd in this series, this story finds everyone going to a house party in the country. Then, someone is killed, of course. We meet Frances‘ mother & brother. It‘s an interesting mystery. This is a good series for me when I want a break after a serious book.
so-soThe discrepancy between how important Saffron's financial independence and career are to her and how much time she actually spends at her job and on her plants was quite large and rather irritating. Also, it felt like there wasn't much of a conclusion to this one. The pacing was good and the relationships were more interesting.
pickDr. Emilia McRoy moved to a small Scottish village for a fresh start, and Sea Isle is starting to feel like home. She has a small circle of friends, and one of them is getting married at a lavish estate. As the wedding festivities get underway, a body is found, but the victim isn‘t a guest or staff. Then the bride is targeted, and Emilia aims to find out who wants to hurt her friend.
