DebinHawaii @rubyslippersreads I am just starting which mainly has been assembling supplies & making a few tags & bookmarks so far and just starting in a pre-made journal but I love it & hoping to devote more time to it & do some #audiojunkjournaling too. The YouTube videos on it are amazing. I plan to do a reading journal of favorite books first. 🤗 3y

The Clergyman's Wife | Molly Greeley

An impromptu rainy weekend binge of the 1995 Pride and Prejudice miniseries has reminded me that:

1. I love the odiousness of Mr. Collins‘ character, and
2. I still needed to read this novel about poor Charlotte Lucas‘ life after she becomes Mrs. Collins.

I‘ve VERY pleasantly surprised, thus far!

Cathythoughts I‘m watching it at the moment ... Collins is really well played. We have the Kiera Knightly movie available at the moment too ... ( I find her hard going ... so staying with the 1995 BBC series 👍🏻 3y

Epiphany #Pemberlittens on not liking when originally read as a teenager. Now I have Elizabeth Bennet's Obstinate Headstrong Girl attitude, back then I was Fanny Price. Quiet, shy, & afraid. Often I compare my hypochondriac mother to Mrs Bennet. Yet so many times with reading(especially w/Juliet Stevenson audio) Mrs Norris sounded exactly like my mother. Verbal abuse & neglect of Fanny I think just hit to close to home for me back then....⬇️

Crinoline_Laphroaig Another reason for disliking - Fanny got her HEA but Edmund is no Mr Darcy or Henry Tilney.

Having survived and thrived despite of my childhood, I can now read through older eyes and appreciate Fanny Price. #musingsonmansfield
