Started this one on a short #audiowalk back home while the car was getting an oil change.

I didn‘t enjoy this book. Now, don‘t get me wrong— it‘s a gorgeous book, and the photos were what kept me flipping through the pages. That said, a lot of the book has stories about the authors‘ lives, and they simply didn‘t interest me. I got the book to read about crystals, not to read about two women‘s experiences with crystals and how their lives were changed by working with them. I‘m glad I didn‘t purchase this. It‘s a solid #borrownotbuy .

As I‘ve now got arthritis in my hands I had to get my son to finish my puzzle which I had started last year. There‘s a piece missing which is very annoying! Not sure if we lost it or if it was missing on arrival. I do love the finished puzzle but usually hand them to charity shops when finished which I can‘t do with a missing piece 🙄

I am so enjoying this book! My favorite quote so far- referring to solving problems or feeling overwhelmed “If I was citrine, and had taken eons to form, how would this situation look?” Perspective and hindsight are too often paired for me. I love considering the moment from a bigger lens.

Book 1 of a new series and I greatly enjoyed it. There were quite a few mysteries in this, some solved and some unsolved, but all of them were well crafted and reels you in. The characters are all unique, but don‘t have too much depth to them; perhaps that will change as the series progresses. Overall though, a well written start to the series!
