I love the realistic look of all the artwork throughout this story!

I really enjoy this book a lot! As well as takes you in the journey of cupcakes birthday party.

I think I‘m staying for the series just for the cupcakes! Mel and Angie are in a baking competition, and so is their horrible competitor Olivia. A judge, Mel‘s friend and mentor, is found dead at the competition, and Mel feels she must find out how they died and why. The reveal at the end was well crafted. And a kitten is introduced in the series, so that made me happy! 😂

Mel‘s wishy-washy feelings made me eye roll!

“Girls it‘s cupcake time!!!”

I really liked the graphics and use of color in this novel. There is always something to look at and it seems to be an enjoyable read for younger kids. I haven't read this myself but it seems like a super fun one to read!
