Have you ever felt joyful, but when you stopped to wonder why, it departs?

Find Joy In suffering.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. -

I love this book. Colt and Ashlyn are so sweet. I‘m a sucker for “he fell first” and this book did not disappoint. He shows her that she should be treated better and even gets other people in her life to realize that. I loved them and cannot wait to read the next stand alone.

Littens who camp: ✨🏕 ✨
Any extra doodads you absolutely love?

I‘ve got some gift cards & we‘re going camping at the end of May. We‘ve got all the major things already (sleeping bags, tent, sleeping pads) — but I‘m always down to improve in happy, little ways.

Kappadeemom Emo hammock. Super light and small to pack 5y
paulfrankspencer Pie iron 5y
monalyisha @paulfrankspencer That seems like a conjoining of two totally random words. 😅 But also: I‘m sure you‘re right on the money & this is something I‘ll need as soon as I figure out what it actually is. 5y

paulfrankspencer Look it up. You will not regret it. 5y
Kimberlone Camping is a favorite activity for me and my boyfriend. Double sleeping bag and tent lights have been excellent purchases for us. We also have a go kit, which is a large Rubbermaid tub where we store all of our camping utensils, so we don‘t have to collect them every time. We just check if something needs to be replenished before every trip. Audiobooks are also a must for any long road trip! And nice for when you have no internet too :) 5y
Kimberlone We‘ve also invested in some nice insulated glasses (yeti brand) and coozies (hydro flask) that are super convenient (hot and cold!) and are more heavy duty. Spendy but worth it for the quality and if you have some gift cards to burn, I definitely recommend it! 5y
monalyisha Thanks @Kimberlone! Do you have any specific recs for tent lights? 5y
Kimberlone @monalyisha my boyfriend has bought two different ones for our tent (don‘t know the brands, sorry!). One is a larger light/fan combo and the other is a string of LEDs that we just leave strung up in our tent. Both are battery powered. Since we live in AK it is bright 20 hours a day during the summer, so the LED sting is usually enough for night time, but the fan is nice when it gets muggy. (edited) 5y

Visited Jackson Street Booksellers (my favorite bookstore) for the first time in close to a year. Dragonball is for my husband and history of the English language is for my mom. Snagged 2 exploration books (one nonfiction , one fiction) and a book discussing how to protect global biodiversity. #bookstore #shopping #explore

This was outstanding 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻A true who-done-it! And the audio narration was brilliant. Plenty of twists and red herrings kept me on my toes. Even when I solved the crime, I was second guessing myself. So glad to have picked up this classic for #AAM @Soubhiville
Which book should I listen to next?? Should I stick with the Poirot series???

Librarybelle I had started to read her books in chronological order for #agathachristieclub and #agathachristieclubr2 and loved to see the progression in her writing style. But, if you want to continue for the #AAM prompt, I would strongly recommend my favorite, 5y
Cinfhen That‘s the one I just picked up from #Hoopla 💗Thanks, Jess @Librarybelle 5y
AmyG I am reading the same. Ha...I can‘t figure out who did it. Poirot is a genius! 5y

Cinfhen Hope you love it @AmyG I read a different book earlier in the year but I wasn‘t as smitten 5y
TheAromaofBooks I quite enjoy Christie's “spy thrillers“ which are a bit campier but still good fun - The Secret Adversary is one of my favorites, because I have a huge soft spot for Tommy & Tuppence!! 5y
Simona I like them all, but my favourites are those where Ariadne Oliver accompanies Hercule Poirot https://www.agathachristie.com/characters/ariadne-oliver#expl... 5y
Cinfhen Thanks so much for the suggestions @TheAromaofBooks @Simona I plan on reading some more throughout 2021 ‼️‼️‼️ 5y
KarenUK Who was your audio narrator? I love this one because of Hugh Fraser on my version. I love Hastings being the dumb sidekick to Poirot‘s genius! 5y
KarenUK Also recommend ‘ And then there were none‘ as a stand alone (super clever twist), or The Murder of Roger Ackroyd for a near perfect example of an unreliable narrator... 🔍💕 5y
Cinfhen My narrator was Charles Armstrong @KarenUK he did a brilliant job but I‘m happy to try both of your recommendations!!! Ohh, I did pick up this one and Hugh Fraser reads 5y
