4 ⭐This book is fantastic. It sounds like John Cena if I‘m beginning to end. It‘s a story about always trying your hardest and that it‘s OK to be different. I love that one of the monster trucks is electric, which is what makes them different from the others but yeah, there‘s still this message of family. This book feels like the author and like someone who spends a lot of time with children.
4 ⭐ When reading this book out loud, you can tell it was written by a singer. The book follows the same ups and downs one normally finds in a song which makes this book work well. The idea is why not you if other people can do it? Why can‘t you do it too? This book is telling you that you can do it, you just have to try. I like everything about this book.

4 ⭐ . This book was lovely. It rhymes; it has a nice cadence. It keeps things simple. It just works on every level. The illustrations are what they need to be and show diversity so this book can be used in many places. Overall, I really like this book, and I would use it for story time repeatedly. As for a celebrity author, I think she had help.

I've been loving the books my daughter has received from the Imagination Library program. The tagged book is the first book every child receives regardless of age, the rest are sorted into age groups and what your local library sponsoring the program chooses. One more reason we all love Dolly 💕 Absolute icon! 🤩
4 🌟 This is a redeeming story that would be immensely fun story time. About a Sandcastle who get squished and has to rebuild themselves and gets frustrated and they get squished again, but they find out that when you have a friend The rebuild is better and stronger. I love the mess in this book. I love the artwork in this book and this book just works. I understand why it is on many best books lists for 2024.
This book is cute and introduces the idea of personal preferences for ramen toppings, but I'm not sure I fully understand what happens in the story. Either the author thought it was obvious or the editor trimmed too much detail. It was nominated for the 2025 Washington Children's Choice Award, so someone loves it.
