Hooked_on_books I read Where the Red Fern Grows when I was his age and it destroyed me! I was a reader practically from birth, but that book really showed me the power of stories. 5d

When life (or the greengrocer who by now knows you) gives you chilli, you string them up to dry while your teenagers dare each other to take a bite out of one of them. 🙄🙄🙄 My daughter won, she ate a large bite and now has €50 to spend on books. 😁😁

Today, in the UK we celebrate World Book Day. I saw so many children walking to school in some great outfits. I love the fact that every child will receive a book token today which can be exchanged for a book. This could be the first book that some children may own. Encouraging the next generation to read is so important ❤️💕
