Sideways: A Novel | Rex Pickett

Can anyone tell me why @litsy wants all of my pics to be sideways? Every time I post, my image is properly oriented as I edit but when the post is published the image is sideways. (Note, I delete the post when this happens, so you won't see it reflected in any of my posts.) Am I the only person this happens to or is this a regular consequence of using the webpage rather than the app?

everlocalwest Of course this post is properly oriented. 😕 1mo
Smrloomis Huh, this doesn‘t happen to me…weird! So you have to rotate it every time? 1mo
Sharpeipup I‘ve been wondering this too! If I crop or edit the photo, then it will post correctly. I don‘t understand! 1mo

everlocalwest @Smrloomis Sometimes they are properly oriented and sometimes they aren't. When they aren't - I just delete the post. So I have this backlog of reviews that I wanna post but don't want to post wonkily. I think my suspicion that this is a web based issue is it - but Litsy is no longer on Android. :( 1mo
everlocalwest @Sharpeipup If I edit the photo - in any way! - it deletes from the post and I don't like posting without an image so I just delete the whole post when that happens. I'm so frustrated by it!! But I'm about to review dump and just let what happens happens. 1mo
Smrloomis @everlocalwest darn! That‘s so frustrating 😡 4w

Themes: Time travel, Fun & quirky, Quick Read

This was such a fun read and just perfect for reading between Christmas and New Year‘s 🤩 There was enough of an interesting plot (and humor) to keep me engaged but it wasn‘t too hard to follow with all the hubbub of this week with family and stuff going on. I just ordered two of his other books, “The President‘s Hat” and “The Red Notebook”. Happy to end 2023 on a great note!

Thank you very much for the amazing #JolabokaflodSwap23 goodies, @robinb - I‘ve had this book on my TBR list since 2018 😂 I can‘t wait to start it!! And thank you for all the delicious chocolate! The hazelnut one sounds especially yummy 😍 Thank you for hosting @MaleficentBookDragon 💚❤️💚

I'm not sure what I expected but I know I didn't expect what I got and that's a very good thing. I really enjoyed this story that starts out in the 2000-teens with an eclectic group of 4. Three Parisians and one American. After an unfortunate incident of one of them being locked in a cellar and subsequently rescued by another in the group, they all get together to share a cellar find, a rare bottle of 1954 Beaujolais. (Cont in comments)...

TheHeartlandBookFairy The next morning, one by one, they each realize that they have been transported back to the year of the wine, 1954. Comical, whimsical, magical, perhaps a miracle, and a bit of mystery and romance. Since Beaujolais is traditionally released on the third thursday in November, this was the perfect November pick for our book club (Cheers to 2023, all wine themed books). Cheers to book club, Cheers to wine themed books, Cheers to Vintage 1954 🍷 5mo
