Fall fun! 📚 ☕️ 🎃 🌫
On my way back from a vacation in Nashville 🎼 and doing some #roadtripreading 🚘
“They seemed to be staring at the dark, but their eyes were watching God.”
I finished this book earlier in the week but I needed some time to take in the ending. I loved this book. I feel like it will be one that I‘ll want to re-read multiple times throughout my life.
1. The Hunchback of Notre Dame because the translated version I have still has a lot of French in it and I don‘t know French!
2. The Devil‘s Arithmetic by Jane Yolen
4. The Productivity Project by Chris Bailey - review coming soon ☺️
5. Anyone who‘s up for it!
I know it‘s been a while since I posted on Litsy but I promise I‘ve been reading! The Nepali Flat was one that I‘ve recently finished on Kindle. Gordon Alexander does a great job in documenting his trek to Everest Base Camp with both a strong veneration for the mountains and humor along the way. It was a great read!
Currently in front of the fireplace since it‘s -6 degrees Fahrenheit outside 🥶
1. Historical fiction
2. Horror books (fun fact: I LOVE horror movies too)
3. Literary fiction
Enjoying this book while keeping tabs on the lunar eclipse! 🌝
The main character is a kid living on a farm during the 1950s and every so often there‘s a quote that makes me giggle - like this one!
Not quite like the Disney movies 😉... What is your favorite original Grimm‘s fairy tale?
My first post on Litsy and first book finished in 2019... I have to admit - I started it quite a while ago but I have a bad habit of postponing the last few pages of a great book because I don‘t want to be done with it! I understand why this is such a beloved story. I love a good adventure! #firstpost #thealchemist #adventure
