November #bookspin and #doublespin
Not sure why this list felt so hard to put together, but it‘s done. I may start A Pirate‘s Life for Tea before the end of the month. If so, I‘ll swap it out for Curses are for Cads. I just can‘t decide which of them I want to read first. #bookspin
(EDITED TO MOVE REDNECKS TO THE PRB CHALLENGE CATEGORY AND REPLACE ITS SPACE WITH LORE OLYMPUS VOL 7)

@thearomaofbooks
Oh my word, October is almost over!! November is right around the corner, so if you would like to #BookSpin next month, it's time to be thinking about your lists!!
And for those of you who REALLY like to plan ahead, I have every intention of continuing this challenge (+ #BookSpinBingo of course!) into 2025... even if it's absolutely bonkers that next year is going to TWENTY-FIVE YEARS into the 21st century! What. Even.
Anyway, can't wait to see⬇

Hoping for a great month of reading! 🍁🦃🍂
It took me a while to put this list together because I kept having to change it - so many library holds and forgotten preorders coming in at once 😅
#BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
All ready for my monthly act of creating an awesome reading list for #bookspin and then abandoning it during the first week! ☺️🙃😋

DNF 1
And I got 2 bingos!!
November wrap up. I was so close to a bingo a couple of ways. But it was a good month and even made some headway on some books not mentioned here. #BookSpinBingo
My favorite reads from this month! 🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎
Joining in on the #20in4 Readathon for this weekend, and adding Monday as a bonus. Today I worked on finishing The Woman in White; over the rest of the time I want to read Not Just Jane, finish the Tao of Pooh, and whatever else I can clear off my #BookSpinBingo board by the end of the month! Thanks for hosting @Andrew65 you‘re the very best of Littens!
Happy Birthday to our #LitsyLove twins: @curiouserandcurioser and @MatchlessMarie !! We hope you both have a lovely day filled with all the things and people you love! 💕😊🎶🎉☀️🍰🧁🎂📚🥮

I haven‘t been able to participate in these the past few months, but I am ready this month. My goal will be to catch up on my library books. I have a couple of graphic novels and cookbooks to read through. Hosted by @Andrew65
Here's my November Bingo card. 🤗
@TheAromaofBooks #BookSpinBingo
Book Spin: Native American read
Double Spin: Romance read
Not doing so great for October, which is par for the course. Really would love to try and get a bingo, maybe the birthday month will be the one 🤷🏼♀️ #bookspin #doublespin #bookspinbingo
Wow November is coming fast, I finally made a full list of 20! Can‘t wait to read some of these! I had a hard time making a list cause I‘ve been mood reading a lot lately. #bookspin #bookspinbingo @TheAromaofBooks
Presenting my November #BookSpin list!! I‘ve included my usual book club picks and a poetry selection, but the majority of the list is nonfiction from my TBR shelves, in anticipation of Nonfiction November. This includes two that have been lingering on my shelves since they were optional reading for my study abroad semester in Florence, Italy. In 1996. 🤣 I randomized the numbers this time for maximum serendipity. 😁
How wonderful! Even more reasons to be thankful!! These amazing Littens are celebrating in November…are you on the Litsy birthday calendar?! If not, it‘s easy to sign up and get some extra love on your special day from your Litsy family. ❤️❤️❤️
Send your (only your own, please) Litsy handle and birthdate to litsybirthdays@gmail.com . The #birthdayfairies will take it from there! 🥳🥳🥳
Tempus Fugit! November‘s already in the rear view mirror! I read 16 books last month & we all know that by “read” I mean I mostly listened to them as I only own books in the top row in treeware form. I LOVED the top row, I‘m happy to have library access for the bottom row and the books in the middle rows were all really good. No DNF‘s! The top left was my favorite & a reread and the bottom right my least favorite. Another really good book month 🤗
A few days late in posting but I managed to get 10 books read in November. Pretty solidly in the fantasy or historical fiction realm but that's okay; and one nonfiction book done. I passed the 110 books mark for the year too.
.
I think my favorites were Black Sun and Dark Archives, both because they were something very different in my reading than the norm. There weren't any duds in the bunch though. One more month to go!
Lower reading numbers for me in November, but I don‘t mind, because there were some fantastic reads in there! Honestly, there was not a bad book in the bunch, even though Circe was not as much my cup of tea as I had hoped.
ALL of these were library books except my re-read of Anne. Hoping to get back to the TBR now that I‘ve dealt with the gigantic library pile situation! (Avert your eyes from the 4 library holds currently on their way...)
Loved Trust and Why We‘re Polarized. Really liked the new Hank Green book. Haaaaated United States of Anxiety
So many excellent books this month! White Fragility really touched me in a painful but good way. I was also really impressed by Joe Hill's collection of short stories. I was a little disappointed in Men Explain Things to Me and Patient Zero, but all the rest were really enjoyable reads that stand out.
#NovemberWrapup
Not my best month, but enjoyed most of what I read....
The Invisible Life, The Arctic Fury & Red, White & Royal Blue were unexpectedly my favorites.... Particularly as I‘m not much of a romance or fantasy reader..
Such a Fun Age made for a great Zoom bookclub pick...lots to discus!
I was most disappointed with Darling Rose Gold. Definitely kept me turning the pages, but the cycle of abuse left me feeling very sad, not ‘thrilled‘.
My reads for #november2020
All were never before read review requests.

Wow! Quite amazing! I read so many books in November. A lot of good ones as well 🥰
I can‘t decide what to read next, so I probably won‘t finish anything else today. November has been the best month all year, in terms of quantity with 15 books completed! As for quality, I enjoyed just about everything, which is always nice. Only two really let me down, and several surprised me by how good they were/how much I enjoyed them. 💖 #novemberstats #novemberwrapup (images in order books were read)
Thanks to @Andrew65 for another great mid-month readathon!
I met all my goals! And read most of Grunt, too. On to #FeastMode in a few days!
#NovelNovember
Woohoo! I‘ve met all my goals for #NovelNovember!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks @Andrew65 for hosting another great readathon!
Read 258 pages today, bringing my total pages read to 929!
#NovelNovember
Didn‘t get a ton of reading done today (just under 100 pages) but my total pages read is now at 671. I think I‘m in good shape to meet my goal!
#NovelNovember
Haven‘t done a #NovelNovember update yet, so here goes. I read Saturday and today, but didn‘t get any reading done yesterday. So far, my total pages read is 389! And I have a plan to read the specific books I want to get read during this readathon, so that‘s also something!
