I gobbled up this book over the weekend! I have to say that I'm someone disappointed. I think Maas focused so much on the setting up the three books branching off from this one, that she lost the strong story needed for this one.

WHAT A BOOK! This is one of strongest sequels I have ever read. This story is so intense and heartbreaking. My favorite character is definitely Helene Acquilla. I can't wait for the final book.

I will forever be in love with this series. The story has captivated me for years and I usually do a reread once a year. I highly recommend these books to any reader.

Wow! What a ending and with only one book to go. This book is over 700+ pages and I felt like it flew by. There are several OMG! moments that kept me glued to the page. I have been a huge fan since the first book and here we are 6 books in and I find myself as big of fan of Maas as on day 1. These characters have grown so much and have endured heartbreaking loss. These are not the young, hopeful and naïve characters from TOG and I like that.

I am so close to finishing this baby! This is going to be one of those books that rips your heart out, in the best possible way....

#Parnassus of Nashville is my #getindie pick! This is my favorite indie bookstore in the world. I drove three hours to attend my first book signing (ACTOR, SJM) and had a complete blast. I really want to go back since the store has double in size over the summer!

obsessed with everything Ilona Andrews publish. This series has grown to be an amazing complex series with very diverse characters. This little novella is about two characters in the Kate Daniels world. Jim Shrapshire and Dali are the most unlikely couple, but you can't help but route for them. I loved this couple from start to finish and found myself smiling over their awkward cuteness. I highly recommend this novella and this entire series.

I was ahead of the game last year when this book came out. I won a ARC from #Goodreads and devoured it in two days. I found the pacing slow at times, but the story kept me in my toes until the very end. The second book is now blowing me away.

I love audible books, but I am ready to get my print book in the mail.
