Long time no see litsy! I'm just about halfway through this now. I'm thoroughly loving it and can see it being one of my favourite books. Massive fan of SJM so what can I say I will read anything she writes! So far it has had me gasping, crying and beaming from ear to ear🌙

Today after looking round some charity shops I found this little gem. I was drawn to the cover and after reading the first page I had to have it. It feels great to have purchased a non-fiction book which I'm excited to read. I always like to push myself and step outside my comfort zone and my comfort zone is YA or contemporary fiction. Reading something I wouldn't normally pick up is extremely refreshing and the writing is pitch perfect 🧭

Recently I've seen a lot of people reading this on Twitter and YouTube and being a Beauty and the Beast fan, was really intrigued to read this retelling. I love it so far! It's a heartwarming, compelling story and everything you'd want from a retelling. I'm about halfway at the moment but I don't think it will take me long to finish it. The element of romance is tasteful and I like the little twists from the classic story 👍

This book has compelled and engaged me and I'm only 50 pages in. It's set in a world different from any other fantasy world I've read about, yet everything is explained so cleverly and masterfully. Really enjoying it so far! 🦉

Thought this book would be right up my street. The first half of this book was enjoyable, it was gripping to a good level, the romance was not too overpowering. However, as it went on, I found that the plot seemed to reach a stand still and the romance became quite stifling! I know many people who enjoyed it but this wasn't one for me so I won't be continuing with the series

Time to start this gorgeous novel. At the moment I'm in a fantasy mood which I'm loving. From what I've heard thus far, this book is sure to be rich and gorgeously written... I'm ready!

Fantastical, flawless and full to the brim with adventure. The second part of the folk of the air series was beyond my expectations. Right to the very end there were twists which blew my mind. Really enjoyed this and cant wait for the final installment.

Immersing myself in this book is really what I need for a week off. Took a little while to get into it but am really enjoying it so far. I've found that some of the references are similar to other YA fantasies but that doesn't take away from the book. Even though I've previously seen hints of spoilers on social media, I still can't guess where it will go... I have a feeling I'll be reading the next one as soon as I finish this!

For the first contemporary romance I've read in such a long time this didn't disappoint me! Really loved this story and I feel like it will be a comfort read. Finished in around 36 hours, this book was so addictive! Recommend for fans of contemporary romance 👍

Poignant, hysterical, heart-breaking and revolutionary. A book I'm so glad I picked up and know for sure I won't forget any time soon. It was a real page turner and full of wit. This book came at the right time

Ishiguro's prose flowed fantastically and what at first look seemed like a sentimental memoir of a butler became so much more. It became a story of what was written between the lines, a story of loss, regret and life.

So far I'm really enjoying this. I've heard lots of good things about it and I love that it's such a raw relatable interpretation of the life of a junior doctor. He's an incredible writer and thus far I have laughed out loud repeatedly. I can't wait to read the rest 💊

I love reading series that have already been fully released! This was a great book, I felt that it was different enough from Sarah's throne of glass series and really enjoyed it. Although in parts it was a bit too much, overall I thought it was written eloquently and I loved the twists. I already have theories about the rest of the series...

Having been inspired to read this after watching the film (wrong way round I know), I finished it and it was good but I found it to be slightly underwhelming. I think Han had a huge fan base before of people who enjoyed reading this book some time ago and although I enjoyed it, I didn't find it to be compelling or superbly written. Aside from that, I thought it was such a fun contemporary!

Original and unique but with similar themes to The Hunger Games as anticipated. I enjoyed that it was unlike any world I have ever visited as a reader and yet familiar too. The writing was faultless and I'm excited to read Thunderhead!

Ages since I've read a thriller and AJ Finn did not disappoint. His writing was masterful and the plot immaculate. Although it starts off fairly slow, the writing kept my attention rapt. Each plot twist was engaging and kept me guessing. Would recommend to anyone who enjoyed The Girl On The Train or appreciates incredible writing 👍

It's 02:21 and I've just finished this. Purely amazing, one of the best books I have read this year. One of the things I love about throne of glass are the multiple points of view. When the perspectives changed between chapters I was distraught as I wanted each to carry on but then became entangled with the new one. Absolutely amazing, I cannot wait for the series finale later this year ❤

I've not been in the mood for fantasy or dystopian concept books for a while and I picked this up on a whim. I loved it. Even though it feels as if the idea has been done before, Sara Holland twisted it into something new. I kept trying to predict the book and although parts of my predictions were true, there were a lot of twists. It's slow at first to pick up pace but if you enjoy fantasy concepts, keep going with it. Cannot wait for book 2😍

AMAZING. I thought it would be a typical YA romance but was completely mistaken. It makes you question everything you know about the world. I loved it irrevocably and it has fast become one of my favourite books. Nicola Yoon is an artist and The Sun Is Also A Star is her art.

New mortal instruments..?! Granted, I'm not fast on the throne of glass bandwagon but ohmigosh i love it! I think the concept is great and although you can compare it to other fantasy and dystopian books it has unique things about it which I love. I didn't really like some of the words Maas created such as 'yulemas' as I thought it wasn't that creative. Apart from that, bring on Crown of Midnight!

I loved how quirky this was! I really enjoyed it from start to finish and enjoyed Simsion's writing which moved away from stereotypes and created characters who were relatable and funny. The plot follows geneticist Don Tillman who has everything in order apart from the fact that he's never been able to pin down a relationship. When Rosie comes into his life, she proves to be his toughest project yet. Great summer read 📚
