Book 3 of #24in48

I‘ve been wanting to read this since hearing her on Jen Hatmaker‘s podcast. Sadly I didn‘t love this book. The formatting for the kindle was AWFUL. Sentences begin on one page and finish pages later, or are just jumbled. It was basically a choose your own adventure I didn‘t choose. She seems sweet and made great points about being in the now and appreciating what you have but it was generic and there wasn‘t enough for a book.

It's nearly time for #24in48 and I think I picked a good combo of books to read. Wish me luck! Good luck everyone participating!

Amazing. Eye opening. It gave me a new perspective on so many things, especially as I'm about to go back to being a stay at home momma. Definitely read it.

Finished my last book for the #24in48 readathon! Currently in hour 25, pushing towards 26! Going to bring it home with more of Queen of Shadows! This was a really good, quick read that brought up a lot of points and good food for thought! 3.75* @24in48

Since @Cinfhen wanted to see more of my planner, here is what I started this morning. I've used an Erin Condren planner for two years but it just wasn't clicking with me. I'm hoping the layout of the Emily Ley Simplified Planner is more functional for me. Now that Florence will be in school with Genevieve in the mornings, I will hopefully be able to carve out some weekly planning time. #emilyleysimplifiedplanner

I'm not the target market for this book. Yes, I am an American woman who is a Christian, but I don't fit into the prescribed conservative, Christian women's box.

At all.

I usually avoid books with pink covers and fancy writing but a friend passed this on to me and I decided to challenge myself. It very sincerely tries to address the heavy expectations women may place on themselves with humour and grace.

On the down side it is 👇🏻
